Why i Love The Sims 3 - World Adventures: China | Review
Después de muchos años, aprendí a amar Los Sims 4, pero los fanáticos de la saga, sabemos que no es la mejor entrega, y aún nos debatimos entre nosotros si la mejor es la 2da o la era entrega. Para mí, que los he jugado todos durante muchas horas, no es muy difícil decidirme, porque cuando estoy jugando la actual, siempre me provoca jugar una partida de Los Sims 3. Existen varios motivos, y aquí vengo a explicarles cuáles son las razones por las que amo Los Sims 3.
Para poder demostrarles, tengo que hablar de sus DLCs, empezando por mi favorita de todos los tiempos, Trotamundos.

After many years, I learned to love The Sims 4, but fans of the series know that it's not the best installment, and we still debate among ourselves whether the best one is the second or the third installment. For me, having played them all for many hours, it's not very difficult to decide, because when I'm playing the current one, it always makes me want to play a game of The Sims 3. There are several reasons, and here I'm going to explain why I love The Sims 3.To demonstrate this, I have to talk about its DLCs, starting with my all-time favorite, World Adventures.
Hay muchos detalles que me encantan, pero como tengo mucho tiempo sin jugar, prefiero ir haciendo las cosas generales que me gustan e ir recordando los pequeños detalles que hacen de este, mi entrega favorita. Lo primero que hice después de instalar el juego, obviamente fue crear a mi Sim. En principio, lo que tengo pensado hacer con este personaje es que pueda recorrer y desbloquear cada recoveco de las tumbas que existen en los tres destinos. Así que le puse le rasgo de aventurera. Este rasgo sirve para que pueda disfrutar de estos viajes, además, que obtendría muchos beneficios que me van a ayudar en el futuro.

There are many details that I love, but since I haven't played in a long time, I prefer to do the general things I like and remember the little details that make this my favorite installment. The first thing I did after installing the game was, obviously, to create my Sim. At first, what I plan to do with this character is to explore and unlock every nook and cranny of the tombs that exist in the three destinations. So I gave her the adventurous trait. This trait allows her to enjoy these trips, and she will also gain many benefits that will help me in the future.

Obviamente, lo siguiente era conseguir un sitio donde vivir. Escogí Bridgeport porque los departamentos cuestan muy poco dinero. Así que al comprar algo barato, me estaría sobrando para poder pagar los viajes que debo hacer, porque sí, hasta en Los Sims hay que pagar por nuestros viajes.

Obviously, the next step was to find a place to live. I chose Bridgeport because apartments there are very inexpensive. So, by purchasing something inexpensive, I would have enough money left over to pay for the trips I need to take, because yes, even in The Sims, we have to pay for our trips.

Una de las cosas que más me gusta hacer, y que en el otro juego es muy superficial, es el modo de aventura. Los Sims 3 empezó fuerte con su primer DLC, y fue mi favorito instantáneo. Aquí tenemos 3 destinos al cual acudir: China, Egipto y Francia. Hoy quiero mostrarles un poco de China.
Para viajar simplemente debemos tomar el teléfono y escoger nuestro destino. En cuestión de unos minutos llegamos a la localidad escogida. Lo primero que hago es revisar el tablero de aventuras, allí nos aparecerán las opciones que tenemos para hacer. Generalmente, lo primero que nos mandan a hacer es revisar una tumba sencilla para ir aprendiendo las cosas que tenemos que hacer para lograr cada uno de los objetivos en nuestro viaje.

One of the things I like doing most, and which is very superficial in the other game, is adventure mode. The Sims 3 got off to a strong start with its first DLC, and it was my instant favorite. Here we have three destinations to visit: China, Egypt, and France. Today I want to show you a little bit of China.To travel, we simply pick up the phone and choose our destination. In a matter of minutes, we arrive at the chosen location. The first thing I do is check the adventure board, where we'll see the options available to us. Generally, the first thing we're asked to do is check out a simple tomb to learn the things we need to do to achieve each of the objectives on our trip.

Antes de empezar a recorrer las tumbas, hay que comprar algunos materiales y provisiones. Los más importantes son: comida seca, una lata de ducha en spray y una tienda de dormir. En estas tiendas también pueden comprar algunas cosas que únicamente se consiguen en estos destinos, como bicicletas, motocicletas y algunas otras cosas propias del sitio donde estés.

Before you start exploring the tombs, you need to buy some materials and supplies. The most important items are: dry food, a spray shower can, and a sleeping bag. With these three things, you'll be all set. You could also go to the bookstore and buy something to read in case you get bored. In these stores, you can also buy some things that are only available in these destinations, such as bicycles, motorcycles, and other items specific to the place where you are.

Ahora sí, vamos a descubrir nuestra primera aventura. Esta se trata de descubrir los restos del Ejército Perdido. Cuando ingresamos a estos sitios, que usualmente están marcados en los mapas de la ciudad, siempre hay algún dispositivo en el suelo para poder abrir alguna puerta secreta, que generalmente desemboca en una escalera que nos llevará a la sala de nuestra aventura.

Now, let's discover our first adventure. This one involves discovering the remains of the Lost Army. When we enter these sites, which are usually marked on city maps, there is always some kind of device on the floor that opens a secret door, which usually leads to a staircase that takes us to the room where our adventure will take place.

Mientras vamos avanzando, empezamos a ver como vamos descubriendo puertas secretas, dispositivos ocultos en las paredes. También pueden aparecer algunos pozos que son en realidad túneles que nos llevan a otras salas. Así mismo hay trampas que si no sabemos como desactivarlas, nos pueden quemar o electrocutar. Lo bueno de todo esto, es que toda esta aventura tiene su recompensa, que suelen ser estos tesoros que cuestan muchos simleones.

As we move forward, we begin to discover secret doors and hidden devices in the walls. We may also come across some wells that are actually tunnels leading to other rooms. There are also traps that, if we don't know how to deactivate them, can burn or electrocute us. The good thing about all this is that the adventure has its rewards, which are usually treasures worth a lot of Simoleons.

En cuanto a los materiales que compramos, creo que uno de los que más me gusta usar, es el de la tienda de campaña. Porque estos sitios en los que nos adentramos, suelen estar bastante apartados de nuestro sitio de dormir, así que simplemente puedes poner la tienda en un espacio, y recuperar todas las fuerzas que has perdido durante el trayecto.
Cada una de estas aventuras que escogemos, nos van dando muchas cosas, pero entre estas recompensas, tenemos unos puntos de visa que desbloquean muchas cosas. Entre estas cosas tenemos, nuevas aventuras con un poco más de dificultad, recompensas más grandes, y también podemos desbloquear más días de viaje. porque cuando iniciamos, solo podemos quedarnos tres días. Esta es la razón por la que hay que aprovechar nuestro tiempo de aventura al máximo, porque créanme que se hace muy corto.

As for the materials we buy, I think one of my favorites to use is the tent. Because the places we go to are usually quite far from where we sleep, you can simply set up the tent in a space and recover all the energy you lost during the journey.Each of these adventures we choose gives us many things, but among these rewards, we have Visa points that unlock many things. Among these things are new adventures with a little more difficulty, bigger rewards, and we can also unlock more days of travel. Because when we start, we can only stay for three days.
