I thought usage of Apex would be tied to LSTR holdings, now I have to buy another token. That hurts, I have no 500$ lying around to invest yet in another launch. I understand the need to launch new products but for me its too much. I am drained and capped

It’s for early testing of Apex. Not sure what the model will look like long term. Apex is in closed beta for anyone holding ACE and I don’t find that to be a problem tbh
Perhaps long term (when the model is fully live) they will allow you to hold LSTR OR pay for a subscription to access it
