WOO - Wrestling's Global Reach: The Growth of International Superstars in WWE

avatar

Greetings to my favorite gaming community online, WOO.

It's @skyehi and you might already know if you've been following my blogs on Wrestling Organization Online community, I've been a fan of wrestling for a long time.

It's been really interesting to see how WWE has grown from what was mostly an American wrestling company to one that's known all over the world. Literally known in Africa. You'd be shocked that some Africans are more familiar with wrestlers in WWE than those living in the US itself.

WWE now has wrestlers from many different countries, which makes it more diverse and exciting. You'd get wrestlers like Iyo Sky and Asuka from Asian countries, Kofi Kingston from Ghana Africa and Gunther from Australia to mention a few.

The rise of international stars like Roman Reigns with his dominant faction called "The Bloodline" is a big part of this global expansion for WWE.

Roman Reigns, the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion and the face of WWE, is a great example of an international wrestling sensation.

His real name is Leati Joseph Anoa'i, and he comes from a famous Samoan wrestling family with bis Father Sika who was a former WWE wrestler.

He's not just popular because of his charisma and wrestling skills but people from all over the world like him for his persona. Lots of guys look up to him as a standard of manliness and dominance because of his role as the Tribal Chief in WWE.

He has had a remarkable championship reign for over a thousand days and even the GOAT himself John Cena has acknowledged Roman countless of times for his great achievements.

His journey from his family's wrestling history to becoming "The Head of the Table" in WWE shows how wrestling stories can connect with people from different countries.

"The Bloodline" is a faction led by Roman Reigns and it includes Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sokoa and Paul Heyman. Although at this moment there's a bit of a family feud amongst them, we cannot deny that when they were together, they were certainly the most dominant faction in WWE history.

Roman Reigns had two belts, the Universal Championship and the WWE championship. The Usos had both Raw and Smackdown tag team championships and Solo had to relinquish his North American championship at NXT to join his brothers on Smackdown.

This group highlights WWE's effort to include different cultures. The story about this Samoan family's success in WWE is not just about their culture but also about the importance of family and heritage. These themes are universal and connect with people from different parts of the world.

Now I believe WWE is realizing that factions and the storylines that factions bring can be really entertaining to fans. They have established so many different factions including, The Judgment day, Imperium,. brawling Brutes and Damage Control.

It's not just Roman Reigns and The Bloodline or the other epic factions but there are many other international wrestlers in WWE.

A Wrestler like Seth Freaking Rollins who is currently the World Heavyweight Champion is another spitting image of the best WWE can do with wrestling characters. I personally love his role that seems to look like the Joker from Batman. He's tough and funny at the same time.

Drew McIntyre from Scotland is also another great and epic wrestling.

Now we have a special character who came in a little over a year ago, The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes the son of wrestling legends Dusty Rhodes. He's a fan favorite and one of the top stars in WWE.

Their unique styles and personalities have huge fans in their home countries and around the world.

The increase in international superstars in WWE is not just about having a diverse group of wrestlers but it's also about telling stories that everyone can understand or relate to.

It's about showing the different cultures and experiences that make wrestling a worldwide thing.

We have the Luchadores from Mexico which includes Rey Mysterio and his team of fellow Mexican lucha wrestlers, we have Jinder Mahal's faction from India, we have The Bloodline from the Samoan Tribe, we have Bobby Lashley with the Street Profits representing black American wrestlers and we have the Judgment day as well.

As a fan, I'm always excited to see more and more international superstars in WWE. It makes the wrestling shows more interesting and shows that wrestling is something that people from all over the world can enjoy and also that Wrestling has a really bright future.

No matter where you're from, there's a wrestler or storyline in WWE that you can certainly relate to.

Thank you all for taking the time to read today's blog. I hope you enjoyed this one guys. For today's comment challenge;
