Val Kilmer is back for a new movie using Ai and it looks actually pretty cool, I know people have feelings about using tech like this but for someone who lost his voice it is a beautiful way to keep him acting, the first look gives me hope that the movie will be more than just a gimmick and actually tell a good story, Val Kilmer is a legend and I am happy to see him on screen again no matter how they do it, I think he deserves this win. I think it's a bit messed up... it can be cool for small parts or cameos as a form of tribute, but if it becomes a thing I'll hate it...
It's similar to what happened to hologram versions of dead musicians on concerts... when they did it the first time to bring back Tupac for a couple of songs it was cool but then not long after they did a FULL concert with a hologram version of DIO singing along a live, real band and that was creepy. Hated it
I get you, although at some point in time Ai content will feel just natural I guess, there will be in the future a generation that is "everything Ai" not us yet 🤔 ,and peak Ai content will be way far away from what the best hologram could probably do ✌️
