I dont think its that much of a problem. the KE is a reflection of how much rewards you pulled and I think a ratio od 3 or below is pretty nice. Also, now I will earn more HP while giving bigger votes,
it is a big problem if i come to the platform and pull out rewards I get punished and people don't upvote because of it.
which defeats the purpose of the chain.
Also it was created by the largest accounts that have drained the most value from the chain.
Don't be fooled.
Well, personally for me, I earn decently on hive already and I withdrew a lot of hive power in past, so I wanted to power up replenish it. KE is just a new way to look at it, overall its just giving back to the community.
