HSBI has been around for a long time and is one of the foundation projects of Hive and the legacy chain before it. It's a complex project and it takes time to investigate and correct errors. HSBIs are shares, rather than tokens, and are created by sending HIVE to @steembasicincome. Updates on PeakD and the website it self are fairly recent innovations which allow accounts to view their HSBI balance. At the moment, there is a problem seeing the updates. To check the status of your account and pull the underlying information is very easy:
