The Silverbloggers Chronicles - Prompt #29 - Learning and skills you would like to learn or improve this year
Greetings 🙏 all Hiveans and members of the #Silverbloggers community. Another new week with another thought provoking prompt.
Tell us about what Learning and skills you would like to learn or improve this new year.
This is a very tempting prompt for me because even if Iam not able to put my skill in practice, Iam happy to talk about it. Probably, we all have one or other skills, but in my case mostly either due to lack of time, not able to resume my skills.

A creative Dream catcher by my daughter
In my school time, I had enough time to inculcate my hobbies on a routine basis. Infact, I had taken a short term course in dress designing after my school hours. Fortunately, this proved beneficial during my college days as I had the freedom to design and tailor my own attire.
Once I graduated, I lost complete touch as I was busy with my 10 hrs. job and found myself retreat away from my passion. Time management played a very crucial role I believe.

Learning pottery
Obviously, I came to know, my daughter from a very young age, was much interested in which I had interest. As she was growing up, she tried to instill these skills as a part of her hobby. This definitely excited me. And so, I encouraged and supported her She was continuing either from where I started or where I couldn't reach despite my varied interest.
I loved knitting, needle work, tailoring etc. but couldn't give enough time for an expansion. I wish I could make it this year as children are settled with their job. I decided to allot few time as my me time. Probably it works. My first step towards this is saving few videos related to the particular subject.
Another long lost skill is writing. For this I thank Hive platform where we can write blindly, if you simply have a passion. The best part is, it is not limited to a particular subject. The choice is varied, where we have the liberty to choose our likes - be it nature, photography, cooking, general (articles) , music etc.... the list is endless.
Hope all these learning skills are back to track.
Thankyou for your time, dear friends and family.
Photos are my own. Works of my daughter taken at different intervals of time.
