The Silver Bloggers Chronicles #42 - My Childhood Area & its changes today
Your Childhood Area & its changes today
Tell us what you remember of the area/ neighborhood you grew up in and the changes that stand out most?
If ever a wish was granted, I would rather opt for my childhood area where I lived and my lovely neighborhood, who always held a lending hand when in need, even without a second thought.
Greetings dear Hiveans and members of the #Silverbloggers community. The immediate prompt brings in loads of lost memories.

A visit after nearly 30 years
The house behind me, is the one I spent the best of my 25 years, from birth until my marriage, with my parents and siblings, surrounded by so called affectionate and empathetic neighbourhood. Then, these quarters were painted in just yellow colour. Now its a combination of cream amd red. But the building remains the same.

During water crisis, this borewell came as a great relief
This one is a borewell installed when I was in my 8th grade. Still remains the same in the same place, but painted with a different colour. My visit to this place is after 30 years. Somewhere I felt everything is the same except for the greenery around. More new quarters have taken over.

Once busy with kids, remains empty now with grass all over.
The big playground right in front of my home, was the biggest blessing where kids united and was always occupied by children of all ages, remains silent now. It was a cricket ground, a football ground, a space taken to conduct any programmes is now a silent area, because children are now more engaged in mobile rather than the open games which keeps us mentally happy and physically fit.

A school with a vision, with lot of intellects
My school, just a kilometer away from home has changed a lot. But this was a recent change with new buildings around. I was told the old building had its own irreparable reasons whereby, with the help of Alumini a new one was built.

These are the beautiful lanes where I walked through to reach the bus stand, while in college. Due to limited bus service, we never had a direct bus. We had to take nearly three different buses, plying our college area. It was a tough time, but the best moment ever. Because all these buses carried students to different colleges and it was such a fun, as we were young and full of energy.

Writing this article reminds me of the nook add corner of my residential area, and I would definitely give this credit to #silverbloggers community.
