A leisure walk
Greetings Hiveans!!! With a wonderful week ahead, a wonderful outing is a must. Imagine a beautiful walk, may be alone or with someone who cares. The more you walk, the more you get to see new places, meet new peoples and also, come across things that you skipped previously.
So here is walk for the community #wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay
My husband enjoying the walk
This is about our recent visit to the museum, in the capital city of our state. Half the way from home, it started to rain, but no way we are stopping by. We moved on. We were supposed to meet a long time family friend of ours, who was abroad and recently settled down in the home country. It was indeed a nice gathering after a long time. So after having lunch at their residence, we decided to return home, but only to realize the rain was getting stronger.
On our return, we decided to spent some time in the Museum and decided to continue our journey once the rain gets subsided. But ill luck you can say, the rain just lashed heavily due to which further movement was impossible. There were too many shelter like open places, inside the museum, where one could rest. That probably should be for the old aged peoples, who are regular visitors here for a short walk.
While walking through the entry, other than the security we could find none. Most peoples to keep themselves away from the severe blowing wind and rain, moved into safe places within the museum.
A few yards away from the entrance, we came across the first exhibition centre. Too many fossils are on display here. A small amount of entrance fee is collected here. But to our surprise we could find none, except for the cleaning staff and we were said visitors are not allowed.
Those sre the flower gardens
From there we walked a little further, a gatden full of flowers. A flower garden on one side and exhibition centre on the other side. Here too many peoples were standing behind closed doors. May be due to severe rain it was closed. Surrounded by it was a large park with seating arrangement and a small path was built in an organised way so that peoples can walk around.
This is the open place where loud speaker is being connected
While walking along, we heard some regional language songs from the FM radio. We just headed from where we heard the song. It was an open circular building in a raised platform. And al oudspeaker was fixed to it. But only the people within the museum can hear it. Irrespective of age, we saw young and old listening to the song and the news. We were one among them. That was nice.
When the rain subsided we moved only to drench again in heavy rain. We ran into another shelter and there was a stray dog along with two other families resting.
Finally after an hour we decided to leave.
The walk can more or less be remembered as a rain walk rather than a normal walk. Whatever, it was a wonderful walk but we did not have the privilege to view anything in the museum, due to heavy rain.
This was my story of walking. Hope yoi enjoyed. . Due to severe rain only few photos were captured in my husband's mobile
Happy Sunday friends !!!
Thankyou
Thankyou so much
You are lucky to see the rain, it is a long time since we have seen any raindrop!
Yes its truly good to see rain, only when it rains normally, not when a devastation takes place my friend, which occured few weeks back in our state. It was a nightmare when around 400 houses were washed away.
Nice pictures you have here, is good there was rain and not a flood.
Thanks to Almighty, my friend
