Do people get hurt operating those things? Looks like it could easily shred someone if one is in the way of it.

Yeah these things are dangerous but I've never really seen any brutal accidents. Aside from someone walking into it and banging their head on it. But nothing big
Looks dangerous though. But most incidents are mitigated by design, education and regulations to non-existing.

Every piece of equipment has an engineer behind it... we do pay attention to the limits on it.
But watch out because most of us are uneducated glorified carnies 😆 🤣 so you never know, and after lunch it's a whole different story 🍺 🍻 🍺
