That's interesting about your facial expression. My husband, on the other hand, has a voice that always sounds angry. He may be frustrated, sad, upset, disappointed or truly angry but it all sounds the same. He gets very annoyed (and sounds even angrier) when I ask him what he is mad about, and he's not mad. Until I ask. Then he gets mad.

I understand your husband. He is the same as I am. I am not mad until my husband assumes I am. Then I get mad. Living with pain is hard to explain to someone who does not have it constantly. Be patient with him, and believe what he says. Give him a big hug from me and tell him he is not alone.
