Finally Reunited with My Gorgeous Girls After Three Years โ Siargao, Day 1 Diaries
After three long years of missed catch-ups, busy schedules, and group chat planning galore, my gorgeous girls and I finally made it happen! Siargao, baby! ๐๐
So, we all had different flight schedules (life be life-ing), but the universe worked in our favor because we all landed on the same day, April 9, just in time for the holiday buzz. โ๏ธโจ
Weโve been dreaming about this reunion since the last time we had one, and let me tell you, we were committed. We each booked our own tickets, and my girl @jezwanderer took charge of the itinerary and accommodation. Bless her organized soul. ๐
Our Siargao home for this much-awaited trip? Siargao Residency. Itโs a cozy two-bedroom spot with a living room, kitchen (yes to storing our snacks and drinks in the fridge!), and the cutest pool surrounded by lush greens which is giving tropical aesthetic realness. ๐ฟ๐๏ธ I arrived last, thanks to my afternoon flight, but the welcome energy? Immaculate!
For our first day, we didnโt waste time. We went straight to Catangnan Bridge, which the locals affectionately call Afam Bridge, you already know the vibe! Foreigners, Filipino travelers, and locals all gathered there for that golden-hour glow. The bridge was poppinโ with food stalls, loud music, and sunset views that made us forget we ever left. ๐ โจ
After soaking in the sunset, we headed to Kurvada, a famous carinderia in Siargao, for some hearty dinner. Then off we went to the convenience store to prep for our Color Party Game Night , just our little tradition to kick off the reunion fun!
Each of us had our own assigned color:
๐ Jezevyl โ Yellow
๐ Chrissie Jane โ Pink
๐ค Demple โ Black
๐ Rica (Me!) โ Green
๐ Jenine โ Blue
We even matched our outfits accordingly and joined the trending color party challenge! Well then, of course we recorded the whole thing and posted it as a reel Sassy, themed, and chaotic in the best way! ๐๐
We spent the rest of the night laughing, planning our itinerary for the next few days, deciding on outfits, and budgeting like responsible queens. ๐๐ธ
Seeing Jenine again was the cherry on top, since sheโs now working in Davao, so this was extra special. The rest of us are still Cebu-based, but this reunion reminded me how friendships like ours can survive time, distance, and all the grown-up stuff in between. ๐
Thatโs it for our Day 1, but trust me, the fun doesnโt stop here. Stay tuned for our Day Tour adventures in the next post. Siargaoโs magic is just getting started. ๐ดโจ
