Hi Sammy, thanks for leaving a comment. I tried to provide several illustrations to better understand the concept of milling. In the end, we can summarize by saying that milling is a mechanical machining process by chip removal, in which material is removed from a workpiece using a rotating tool with multiple cutting edges... this tool is called a milling cutter.
