The other aisle - freewriters

“It’s in the other aisle,” the clerk said. After twenty years, those words led Daniel to the old bookstore’s forgotten corner. There, between dusty shelves, stood Emma holding the novel he had once gifted her, waiting, somehow, exactly where he’d left his heart. She had tears in her eyes but she knew that this was for right. That forgotten corner meant so much to her but it did not mean anything to him.

This made her realize that life had a way to show us, to humble us and to let it all flow without our control. Daniel had realized it long ago. It was her moment to realize it.

The picture is taken by me.
