My Wednesday walk in Gilgit

Hello guys, I hope you all are fine. I have been sharing my trips photography on hive. I have received a lot of love and appreciation on my blogs. And this is my entry to the #wednesdaywalk.

I have shared about the northern side of Pakistan, Hunza, Siachen, Skardu in different places. Our trip has led us to Gilgit-Baltistan which is one of the most simplest yet naturally beautiful places on earth. That is how I see it.

But overall the place is so beautiful. When the old man was singing, the little child was dancing to entertain us. The Siachen part of Gilgit is where people look like a bit of Chinese. They have a fair complexion. And they have sensitive skin. So they get sunburned very easily. The part where I come from, heat is very common.

I mean it must be forty-five degrees out there in my city but here it is somewhere around five to seven and some days it goes to zero degree. Centigrade as well. These people are very simple. They are earning a very honest living. And they are not indulged or interested in the world of social media. They are living their simple lives.

The government has tried to provide facilities to the tourist and to the local people. There are some connectivity issues. There are network issues.

The Gilgit people are very simple and down to earth. They are very hospitable. The tourists come here and that is how they run their businesses and their homes. It is such a far flung area that connectivity issues are often faced by the Gilgit people.

They engage with people who come from different cities. You can see a touch of culture in their heads, in their attires, in their homes. They are not leaving their heritage. What do you think about Gilgit? Do let me know.
