Credibility lost in one go.

His wife trusted him blindly; she did whatever he told her, because he was her husband. But when she found out that her husband was taking money from her purse and he was taking all her savings, he lost the credibility that he had. It takes years to build trust and credibility, but once it is lost, it is lost forever, and you cannot regain it unless you make consistent efforts.
