BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! Lost Legendaries Ruleset | Splinterlands

In battles with the Lost Legendaries Ruleset, Legendary Monster Cards may not be used, but Legendary Summoner Cards may be used. I can say that I like the Lost Legendaries Ruleset as I don't have many legendary cards in my deck and their level isn't too high either.

I will share an interesting battle with the Lost Legendaries Ruleset, I hope you like it.

• Lost Legendaries: Legendary Monsters may not be used in battles.

Since the battle had the Lost Legendaries Ruleset, the Legendary card may not be used in this battle, but the Legendary summoner card may be used.

Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I saw that the opposing player had very powerful cards. The opponent was very powerful compared to my deck, so I knew this battle would be very tough.

I knew the battle would be very tough so I needed a better strategy to increase my chances of winning the battle. I will use a Gladiator card in this battle as I believe a Gladiator card will increase my chances of winning the battle, so I will choose Franz Ruffmane as the Summoner, and thanks to it, all monsters in my team will have +1 armor.

I'll put Drybone Barbarian with Enrage Ability and Retaliate Ability in the first position. Drybone Barbarian can attack really ruthlessly and particularly can be effective against melee attackers.

Since I think there may be Monsters with Thorns Ability and Blast Ability on the opposing team, I will add Corsair Bosun with Reach Ability and Reflection Shield Ability to the team and put it in second position.

• Thorns Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, does damage back to the attacker.
• Blast Ability : Does additional damage to Monsters adjacent to the target Monster.

I will put War Pegasus with Flying Ability and Shatter Ability in third position. And I will put Djinn Renova with Strengthen Ability and Triage Ability in fourth position. In particular, I thought Shatter Ability and Triage Ability could be of great benefit to the team in this battle.

I will put Captain Katie with Snipe Ability and Bloodlust Ability to the team and put it in fifth position. I thought that Captain Katie could be very effective in this battle, and if it could not be destroyed early in the battle, it would greatly help me win this battle. As Captain Katie has Bloodlust Ability, it can become more effective and more dangerous against enemies as the battle goes on.

And finally, I'll put Time Meddler with Dodge Ability in the last position. Since Time Meddler has Dodge Ability, it has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks. I can say that I will put it in the last position, especially considering the possibility of having Monsters with Sneak Ability on the opposing team.

• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

I've adjusted the line up of my team according to the health and abilities of the Monsters.

Summoner : FRANZ RUFFMANE

I chose Franz Ruffmane to use a Gladiator Card in this battle. Franz Ruffmane is a Life Summoner that gives +1 armor to all friendly Monsters and allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle.

Position 1 : DRYBONE BARBARIAN

Drybone Barbarian is a very powerful Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Enrage Ability and Retaliate Ability at level 5. I put Drybone Barbarian in first position and thought it could be very effective in this battle with its abilities.

• Enrage Ability : Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged.
• Retaliate Ability : When hit with a Melee attack, Monsters with Retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

Position 2 : CORSAIR BOSUN

Corsair Bosun is a powerful Monster that can attack the target with Melee Attacks and has Reach Ability and Reflection Shield Ability from level 1. I added Corsair Bosun to the team and put it in second position, as I thought there might be Monsters with Thorns Ability and Blast Ability on the opposing team.

• Reach Ability : Melee attack Monsters with the Reach ability may attack from the second position on the team.
• Reflection Shield Ability : This Monster doesn't take damage from Blast, Magic Reflect, Thorns, or Return Fire.

Position 3 : WAR PEGASUS

War Pegasus is a Monster that can attack the target with Ranged Attacks and has Flying Ability and Shatter Ability from level 1. The main reason I added War Pegasus to the team was because it has the Shatter Ability and I put it in third position.

• Flying Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Monsters who do not have the Flying ability.
• Shatter Ability : Target's armor is destroyed when hit by an attack from Monsters with Shatter.

Position 4 : DJINN RENOVA

Djinn Renova is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has Strengthen Ability and Triage Ability at level 4. Djinn Renova can both attack the target powerfully and have great abilities so I added it to the team and put it in the fourth position. The Strengthen Ability would increase the health of all Monsters in the team by +1, while the Triage Ability would heal the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.

• Strengthen Ability : All friendly Monsters have increased Health.
• Triage Ability :Heals the friendly back-line Monster that has taken the most damage.

Position 5 : CAPTAIN KATIE

Captain Katie is a very powerful Gladiator that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has Snipe Ability and Bloodlust Ability from level 1. I like the Bloodlust Ability because Monsters with the Bloodlust Ability revel in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Captain Katie can be very effective in battles, so I added it to the team and put it in the fifth position. And I knew that if the enemies couldn't destroy it early in the battle, it would greatly help me win this battle.

• Snipe Ability : Targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
• Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats (in the Reverse Speed ruleset, -1 to Speed).

Position 6 : TIME MEDDLER

Time Meddler is a Monster that can attack the target with Magic Attacks and has Dodge Ability from level 1. The main reason I added Time Meddler to the team was because it has the Dodge Ability. I put Time Meddler in the last position thinking that there will be Sneak Monsters on the opposing team.

• Dodge Ability : Has an increased chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks.

To be honest, the opposing player's strategy was very good and the opposing team was much more powerful than I expected. It was especially clever to put Night Ghoul, who has the Taunt Ability and the Forcefield Ability, in the first position, which meant that Drybone Barbarian wouldn't be very effective in this battle. Fortunately, I didn't use another monsters with 5+ attack power in this battle.

• Taunt Ability : All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to).
• Forcefield Ability : This Monster takes only 1 damage from attacks with power 5+

Round 1

In the first round, all monsters on both teams attacked their targets very effectively, but it was frustrating that Drybone Barbarian only dealt 1 damage despite attacking with 8 Melee Attacks. But its Retaliate Ability was nevertheless very useful, and it was admirable that it destroyed 4 armors of Arachne Thug. It was also admirable that Night Ghoul destroyed 5 armor even though War Pegasus attacked with 3 Ranged Attacks. And it's pretty good that Captain Katie destroyed its target and all its stats increased by +1. In the first round, one monster from both teams was destroyed.

Round 2

Both teams were very eager to win the battle and the battle was indeed quite competitive. In the second round it was frustrating that Corsair Bosun and War Pegasus missed Arachne Thug, but it was admirable that Time Meddler escaped Sand Worm's brutal attack. No monsters could be destroyed in the second round, but the monsters in the first two positions on the opposing team had much reduced health. This had increased my hopes of winning the battle.

Round 3

In the third round, the opposing team was much more effective, so they destroyed two monsters on their team. But it was pretty awesome that Captain Katie destroyed the Tortisian Chief.

Round 4

In the fourth round, the attacks of the opposing team were much more effective, especially Arachne Thug was attacking very brutally, which reduced my hopes of winning the battle. But it was admirable that Captain Katie destroyed one monster every round. Captain Katie kept up my hopes of winning the battle. Also, the Triage Ability prevented it from being destroyed. Good thing I used the Triage Ability in this battle. At the end of the fourth round, both teams only had 2 monsters left, but the monsters on my team had less health.

Round 5

Triage Ability really helped my team a lot in this battle and the fact that Djinn Renova was restoring some of Captain Katie's health gave my team a huge advantage in battle. Destroyed in Silent Shavi and Djinn Renova. And at the end of the fifth round, Sand Worm and Captain Katie were remained one by one and my team now had the advantage.

Round 6

In the sixth round, Captain Katie destroyed Sand Worm in one hit and allowed me to win such a tough battle.

The battle lasted 6 rounds and the battle was incredibly tough and contentious, I am happy to have won such a battle.The opposing team was very powerful and the opposing player's strategy was also very good, but my strategy worked better. In particular, I can say that Triage Ability and Bloodlust Ability played a big role in my winning this battle. I can say that this battle was one of the most exciting, interesting and most challenging battles of recent times.
