RULESET: Holy Protection

Description:

All units gain the Divine Shield ability which reduces the damage of the first attack received to 0.
Divine Shield will be re-applied when a unit is Resurrected.
Blast damage will remove Divine Shield.

In battles with the Holy Protection Ruleset, all Monsters have the Divine Shield Ability. The first time a Monster with the Divine Shield Ability takes damage it is ignored. The Divine Shield Ability is truly a ability that can be very effective in battles and it can be quite difficult to deal with a team equipped with the Divine Shield Ability.

If I feel that all Monsters on the opposing team will have the Divine Shield Ability, I will focus on attacking a single enemy target instead of attacking different targets, and I will determine my strategy accordingly. In other words, in battles with the Holy Protection Ruleset, I either only target enemy Monster in the first position or target enemy Monster in the last position, I think it is easier to destroy enemies this way. I usually use either Ranged Attack Monsters or Magic Attack Monsters or Monsters with the Sneak Ability in battles with the Holy Protection Ruleset. Below I will share a strategy with Monsters with Sneak Ability, I hope you like it.

• Divine Shield Ability : The first time the Monster takes damage it is ignored.
• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.

MY STRATEGY

The battle had the Holy Protection Ruleset, so in this battle all Monsters would have the Divine Shield Ability. Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the last 5 battles of the opposing player, I guessed that the opposing player would prefer Magic Attack Monsters, so I put Baakjira with the Void Ability, the Slow Ability and the Strengthen Ability in the first position. And since the battle cost 25 mana, I believed that I would have a better chance of winning this battle with Monsters with the Sneak Ability and determined my strategy accordingly.

Also, would a Monster with Tank Heal Ability or a Monster with Rust Ability be more beneficial for the team in this battle? I thought about the answer to this question for about 30 seconds and decided that a Monster with the Rust Ability would be more beneficial. I wish I could use both abilities. In short, I believed that it would be more beneficial to reduce the armor of all monsters on the opposing team by -2 in this battle.

Also, I thought the Dhampir Infiltrator with the Sneak Ability and Double Strike Ability would be very effective in such a battle, so I chose the Dragon Summoner Quix the Devious as the Summoner to add Dhampir Infiltrator to the team.

• Slow Ability : Reduces the Speed of all enemy Monsters.
• Strengthen Ability : All friendly Monsters have increased Health.
• Sneak Ability : Targets the last Monster on the enemy Team instead of the first Monster.
• Double Strike Ability : Monster attacks twice each round.
• Rust Ability : Reduces the Armor of all enemy Monsters.
• Tank Heal Ability : Restores a portion of the Monster in the first position's health each round.

In battles under 30 mana, having cards that cost 0 mana can be a great advantage. I also added TORRENT FIEND to the team and put it in the last position.

BATTLE COMMENTS

Round 1

Battle Link

It was a big advantage for my team that the Monsters in my team were faster and the Monsters in the opposing team did not have armor. And Monsters with the Sneak Ability easily destroyed the Monsters in the last two positions on the opposing team. In the first round, the attacks of the monsters on my team were very effective, while the attacks of the monsters on the opposing team were not very effective, but Venari Bonesmith managed to poison Baakjira in its first attack.

Round 2

In the second round, it was pretty good for my team that the Sneak Monsters destroyed Venari Bonesmith because it couldn't poison any other monster anymore. At the end of the second round, only 3 Monsters remained in the opposing team, while in my team all Monsters were still alive. It was also admirable that even though Baakjira was poisoned, it still had 7 health.

Round 3

In the third round, the Sneak Monsters managed to destroy another enemy Monster as well, and all hopes of winning for the opposing team were gone. Indeed, the Sneak Ability was very effective in this battle.

Round 4

In the fourth round, the Sneak Monsters managed to destroy yet another enemy monster, and Pelacor Deceiver managed to destroy Baakjira, but only Pelacor Deceiver remained on the opposing team. It wouldn't be difficult to destroy Pelacor Deceiver in the next rounds.

Round 5

In the fifth round, it was admirable that the Sneak Monsters did not miss Pelacor Deceiver, which made it very easy to destroy it.

The battle lasted 5 rounds, at the end of the battle it was admirable that 5 Monsters were still alive in my team while all the Monsters on the opposing team were destroyed. To be honest, I thought this battle would be much harder, but my strategy worked pretty well in this battle and my team won this battle quite easily. The above battle clearly showed how effective the Sneak Ability is in battles under 30 mana with the Holy Protection Ruleset, so I prefer Monsters with the Sneak Ability in such battles.
