I've had a really bad time with this game. My internet connection makes it hard to stay focused, and I'm always getting attacked, haha.

It's a game that requires predictability of time, that needs to follow a clock. Even if you only have 15 minutes a day, you need to plan so that in that time you do the necessary things and protect your planets and fleets!
