Splinterlands Chronicles #2: Opened my very first pack!

Hello Everyone!

In today's post, I opened my very first pack in #splinterlands, and honestly it felt amazing! I'm actually really happy that i got to do that because I've always enjoyed the excitement of opening packs in games and i also needed some good cards. So finally getting to open one myself in Splinterlands was a big moment.

I opened 5 Concave Arcana Starter packs in which i got 5 rare cards and the other ones were normal cards.

After opening them I didn't waste any time and decided to use those cards in my first ranked match of the day. And guess what, I won! Those were some good cards that i got.

Since, i really like opening packs, I decided to open some more packs. I bought 3 Riftwatchers packs and opened them. The cards that i got from it were fantastic. I got pretty happy with the packs that i opened before but these packs surpassed them easily. I got 5 rare cards.

I pulled 3 Tinderlocks from my last pack so i combined them. Now, I'm 2 cards away to level it up and gain increases stats. I really like this feature in the game that you can combine duplicate cards to increase the level of the card. Or, you can also sell, rent or burn them to get credits.

At this point, I can confidently say that I'm actually really starting to enjoy this game quite a lot now. The strategic battles needs proper planning instead of luck, each card has different abilities and mana costs which you have to think carefully before picking them for batlle before every match. The game has a very vast varieties of cards, the trading, competitions, everything is just properly aligned and balanced. And, you can also earn in real life with the help of sps tokens. You can earn sps tokens by playing ranked battles. SPS tokens also work as a crypto so you can also withdraw them. You can use SPS tokens to also vote on proposals affecting the game's ecosystem. Furthermore, you can stake SPS tokens for rewards, like you can stake SPS tokens to earn additional SPS rewards.

Apart from SPS tokens you also have DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) which acts more as the in-game currency. SPS is more of a rewards-oriented currency. With DEC (Dark Energy Crystals) you can perform different transactions like renting cards, buying packs or participating in certain game modes.

Overall, my experience has been really good and satisfying. Opening packs, combining cards, trying different strategies and apart from all that, earning real rewards makes this game different from other strategic auto-battler card games.

Well, that's how my day went and as i said before, I'm completely new to this game and i would appreciate some guidance and tips and tricks. I have also seen that people are getting insane cards so I'm also looking forward to that as well.
