Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Today I want to continue my card spotlight series and talk about a very unique legendary card that instantly catches your attention when you see its stats.

The card is Dar "Gottem" Gearnut, a Legendary Life/Dragon unit that currently holds a very special title in #Splinterlands.

It has the highest health stat in the entire game with a massive 25 health at max level!

When I first saw this card, I honestly had to look twice. A small gnome-looking character having more health than giant dragons and monsters felt kinda crazy. But after looking deeper into its abilities, it started to make sense.

This card isn't just a giant health sponge. It also brings damage, utility, and team support all at the same time.

  • Name: Dar "Gottem" Gearnut

  • Rarity: Legendary

  • Element: Life / Dragon

  • Mana Cost: 14

  • Max Level: 4

  • Melee Damage: 3

  • Speed: 3

  • Health: 25

  • Armor: 4

At max level, the card gains four abilities:

  • Trample

  • Flank

  • Inspire

  • Void

That is a pretty stacked ability set for a frontline monster.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 𝟏: π“π«πšπ¦π©π₯𝐞

Trample: After using a melee attack to defeat a unit, performs another melee attack against the unit in the next position.

This is one of my favorite melee abilities in the game.

Whenever Dar finishes off an enemy, he immediately gets another attack. If the enemy team is already weakened, Trample can start a chain reaction that completely changes the battle.

Because Dar already has strong melee damage, Trample gives him even more offensive potential.

There are battles where a single Trample activation is all you need to secure the win.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 𝟐: 𝐅π₯𝐚𝐧𝐀

Flank: At the beginning of the battle, if this unit is in the first position, the unit in the second position gains Reach.

I think this ability is often underrated.

Flank allows another melee monster behind Dar to attack from the second position, even if that monster normally couldn't.

This creates some really powerful melee combinations.

Instead of having only one monster attacking from the front, you suddenly have two strong melee threats putting pressure on the opponent from the very first round.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 πŸ‘: 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐒𝐫𝐞

Inspire: +1 melee power to all allied units.

Now things get even better.

Not only does Flank allow another melee monster to attack, Inspire makes all your melee monsters stronger as well.

That's some really nice synergy.

If you're running a melee-heavy lineup, Dar basically boosts your entire team while also serving as a giant tank.

I love cards that help both themselves and their teammates.

𝐀𝐛𝐒π₯𝐒𝐭𝐲 πŸ’: 𝐕𝐨𝐒𝐝

Void: 50% less damage from magic attacks or 0 damage from magic attacks of 1 power.

This ability makes Dar even harder to bring down.

Normally, high-health tanks can still struggle against strong magic teams because magic ignores armor.

Void helps solve that problem.

When combined with 25 health, Void makes Dar extremely annoying for magic-focused opponents.

Even if they try to burn through his health pool, they'll often need much more time than expected.

The thing that really separates Dar from other tanks is simply that gigantic health pool.

Twenty-five health is absolutely massive.

In long battles, especially those involving poison, blast damage, or opportunity attacks, having extra health gives you so much room for mistakes.

Many tanks can disappear in a few rounds.

Dar often sticks around much longer and gives the rest of your team enough time to do their job.

That reliability is something I value a lot when building lineups.

Dar "Gottem" Gearnut is one of the most unique legendary cards currently available in Splinterlands.

The combination of:

  • The highest health stat in the game (25 HP)

  • Trample

  • Flank

  • Inspire

  • Void

makes him a very interesting tank and support unit rolled into one card.

Yes, the 14 mana cost is expensive, but you are getting a lot of value in return.

Personally, I think the best part about this card is how many roles it fills at once. It tanks damage, boosts allies, enables melee attacks, and can even become a serious threat with Trample.

That's not something many cards can do.

If you enjoy playing aggressive melee teams or simply want one of the toughest frontline monsters available, Dar "Gottem" Gearnut is definitely worth checking out.

And honestly, having the highest health monster in Splinterlands is a pretty cool title on its own!

Anyway thats it for today’s #splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.

I do enjoy Dar Gottem gearnut, especially pairing it with Meriput Magician or Satha Toledo( tank healers) and Eternal Tofu as their summoner because of thorns ability. Thank you for the update, warrior!
