FIRE UNITS ARE STRONG !!! EPIC BATTLE USING FIRE UNITS !

Hello Everyone! Hope you're all are doing great and welcome to my daily Splinterlands post! Today, I'm going to be talking about one of my most epic and strategical wins in Splinterlands using the Fire cards.

Set-up

There were no rulesets in this battle. However, with the mana cap set at 73 I knew I'd have to build strong but smart. I chose my summoner and cards lineup with a clear purpose, aim for speed and burst damage.

My picks were:

  • Summoner: Barthalamas

  • Line-up:

    1. First Position: Cavewise Wayfinder

    2. Second Position: Vicious Giraffe

    3. Third Position: Great Bear Druid

    4. Fourth Position: Chaos Evoker

    5. Fifth Position: Portly Cannoneer

    6. Sixth Position: Grimward Ruinshot

Each choice was intentional. I picked Cavewise Wayfinder because he has very high health and speed. He can dodge enemy attacks easily with his high speed and even though he's a melee attacker but he can also attack other units due to it's ability and deal true damage to them.

My second position was Vicious Giraffe. I picked him mainly because of it's high speed and ability. Because of it's ability, it can deal damage to the enemy unit from the second position,

My third and fourth were 2 mages, Great Bear Druid and Chaos Evoker. While, Great Bear Druid is a melee attacker, he can also deal magic damage as well and plus he has good amount of health. Furthermore, Chaos Evoker can deal magic damage to adjacent enemy units as well due to it's ability.

Lastly, my Fifth and Sixth positions were 2 ranged units, Portly Cannoneer and Grimward Ruinshot. These two units were the final blow to the enemy team. Not only Portly Cannoneer deals ranged damage but it can also buff my team by giving them +1 melee attack power due to it's ability.

Opponent and the Battle

My opponent came in with a lineup hinting at Tanky, Magic-heavy units because he picked Marlai Singariel has his summoner. Right from the first round it became clear they were trying to exploit magic damage.

I got a clean start, my Cavewise Wayfinder managed a quick strike and my summoner’s buff triggered nicely. My Cavewise Wayfinder was dodging the enemy attacks easily with his high speed and the enemy team couldn't kill him.

This match was pretty much a flawless victory because none of my units died in the battle. They teared the enemy units apart from the start. We won like this because I prepared my team strategically. If I would have made a single mistake in preparing, it would have gone completely wrong. At Round 4, the battle was over and we won. I was really happy because I picked my units completely intentionally.

What I Learned

  • Flexibility wins. Having a plan is really important.

  • Synergy Matters. My summoner and monster abilities complemented each other, the buff chain plus the finishing ability made a big difference. If I’d picked mismatched monsters I’d have struggled.

  • Mana cap strategy differs. With high mana, you have to choose your best cards because your opponent will do that as well. I deliberately chose higher cost, high-impact monsters and made each move count.

  • Adapt your lineup. If tanks and supports are common in your bracket, pick monsters with either big burst or strong removal/targeting.

Conclusion

Having won this match, my next goal is to climb the league ladder further while maintaining this adaptive approach. I’ll focus on acquiring or renting monsters that fit this “burst + adaptability” style. Also, I’ll experiment with different summoners under similar rulesets to see which bring the best synergy for me.

That’s all for this post! I’ll be back tomorrow with another one, so stay tuned and follow my Splinterlands journey.
