Earning in Splinterlands || It's Financial Side

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing.
Today, I will be talking about the financial side of the Splinterlands game and my personal experience with it.
So, when I first heard about the Splinterlands game, I thought that it's just another play to earn game that people are going to be hype about it for a little while and then forget about it. I was not serious about it. At first I just wanted to try it out and play only a few matches. But when I started playing it, those few little matches turned into lots of matches. Then with time, I started to realize that this game is not just another turned based game. It is actually an economical game. Yes, the game is heavily dependent on strategizing and winning your battles. But, the financial decisions in the game also matters.
The thing is that at first I was only playing matches without thinking heavily about the cards, value, rentals and many other things. But slowly I came to realize that how you manage your cards and other things directly affect your performance and future rewards.
Cards are Assets
The first thing that I learned about the financial side of Splinterlands is that cards are assets. Each card has it's own value and a market price. You can basically buy a card, use it for battles, rent it to others, sell it when it's price goes up or also level it up to increase it's value. It's just like crypto trading. You buy cards which has good potential and when their price is low. And, later sell them for profit. That is why this game is different from other games. In other games, you buy skins, items or characters and that's it. You cannot sell them and you cannot trade them. But, in Splinterlands you can do all those things.
In Splinterlands, if you buy card for 1 dollar and later it's price rises to 3 dollars and then if you sell it, it's profit. Not only that, you can also increase your other assets in the game by playing the game and winning battles. You receive reward cards, SPS rewards and much more.
Before I understood all this, I used to be literally any card, without checking it's potential. But after when I learned about how those cards actually work and what can be done with them, it changed everything. Now I am careful which cards to buy, which cards to sell and which cards to rent.
Renting is also really good in this game and I personally mostly rent cards rather than straight up buying them. I find renting fun because sometimes really good cards are really expensive but their renting cost is really low. So, I rent them, use them in my battles, win my battles and get good rewards. You can also rent out your good cards for passive income every single day. You do not have to do anything, your cards will earn for you because they are on rent.
Staking SPS
You can also earn really good rewards by staking SPS. The more you stake SPS, the more you get just by playing normally. Each ranked battle will give you rewards. So SPS works as a multiplier here. It depends how much SPS you have staked. If you have alot of SPS staked then your multiplier will increase and you will get higher rewards. This is how staking SPS is also really important. It works as a side hustle in your Splinterlands economical journey.
So, the main thing here is playing. If you have only staked SPS and you are not playing the game then it is of no use. Because, you earn higher rewards by playing. Staking SPS just makes you become eligible for it. Therefore this game also has a really good connection with consistency. The more you are consistent and play daily, the more you can earn. In a way this game also helps you become consistent.
One more important thing I would like to add is that you get even better rewards if you win your battles because winning your battles back to back gives you a winning streak bonus. And that winning streak bonus also acts like a multiplier in your end battle rewards. If you are on a winning streak and lose a match, then your streak ends and you get less rewards in the end. So, winning your battles also matters. And to win your battles you need to get good in the game. This is a whole different topic so I'm not going to go deep into it.
Conclusion
In Conclusion, Splinterlands is not just another turned based game. If you make good decisions and actually understand the game from it's core then you can turn it into a literal job. I'm really excited for this game's future and I will keep buying, selling and renting cards to grow even more.
