Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.

Alright so today was kinda a mixed day in #Splinterlands. Few days ago (like 2 days before), I actually got demoted to Gold 3, which was honestly a bit annoying. I was doing fine in Gold 2 and suddenly things just went downhill. Losing streak started and boom, back to Gold 3. But today I finally made a small comeback. Back to Gold 2 again. Not a huge achievement maybe but it still feels good after dropping down.

I also decided to invest a bit again today. I purchased around 3.3k credits. I know some people try to grind fully F2P but honestly for me renting cards makes the game way more enjoyable. Otherwise you just get stuck with weak lineups. And specially in Gold league you kinda NEED good cards or you just get destroyed.

I went a bit heavy on rentals today. Rented 12 cards. Maybe a bit too much but I really wanted to build stronger teams. Mostly I focused on better tanks and some strong ranged units. Because lately I noticed my problem wasn’t just damage, it was team balance. Sometimes my front dies too fast. Sometimes backline has no protection. Sometimes just bad synergy. So today I tried to fix that.

After getting demoted earlier, I realized something. I was playing a bit too random. Like just picking cards without thinking much about, Rulesets, Opponent patterns and Mana efficiency. So today I tried to slow down a bit. Not like super pro level thinking but at least, Choosing better tanks, Not wasting mana and Picking cards according to rules. And honestly, it helped.

This match I remember clearly. My tank survived WAY longer than expected. And that basically won me the game. Because once your front holds, your backline just keeps doing damage. Simple but effective.

So yeah, today wasn’t about crazy rewards or big chests. It was more like a recovery day. And I think I learned a few things:

  • Don’t tilt after losing streaks

  • Rentals actually make a BIG difference

  • Team balance > just strong cards

  • Small improvements = better results

Also, patience matters. Sometimes you just keep losing and then suddenly things start working again.

Now that I’m back in Gold 2. Next goal is obvious, push towards Gold 1. But I need to be consistent. Because I already saw how easy it is to drop back. Let’s see how next matches go. Hopefully no more demotion.
If you guys have tips for Gold league especially good rental combos, let me know. I think I still have a LOT to learn.

Anyway, that was my grind today. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)

I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
