Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing amazing and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Today I want to talk about a card that I find very interesting and a little bit crazy at the same time. The card is Electroneum x Splinterlands: Voltage Event card named, Electrofox, a Legendary Fire/Water unit. At max level (Level 4), this card comes with five different abilities, making it one of the more unique support-damage cards in the game.
At first glance, Electrofox doesn't look like the strongest attacker. But once you understand how its abilities work together, you start to see why this card can become very dangerous in the right lineup.

Electrofox costs a decent amount of mana, so you normally don't throw it into every battle. It is more useful in medium and high mana matches where you can build a team around its abilities.
What makes Electrofox special is that it helps friendly units while also becoming stronger itself as the battle goes on.
Let's take a look at its abilities.

Opportunity: Targets the enemy unit with the least health.

This is one of my favorite attack abilities in Splinterlands because it helps remove weak support units hiding in the backline. Many players protect their damage dealers behind tanks, but Opportunity completely ignores that strategy.
I've won many battles because Opportunity attackers kept eliminating enemy supports one by one.

Electrified: Deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of round 2 and each following round.

Normally damaging your own team sounds terrible. When I first read this ability I honestly thought, "Why would I ever want this?"
But Electrofox has another ability that changes everything.

Amplify: Increases damage of Retaliate, Corrosive Ward, Magic Reflect, Return Fire, and Thorns for all friendly units by 1. Does not stack.

If you're running defensive monsters that punish attackers, Amplify makes them much more effective.
I think this is one of the reasons Electrofox works so well in special rulesets where reflected damage becomes important.

Inspire: +1 melee power to all allied units.

This alone can make a huge difference.
Many Fire and Water teams rely heavily on melee attackers. Adding an extra point of damage across multiple units can quickly snowball into a big advantage.
If you combine Inspire with already powerful melee monsters, the damage output becomes really scary.

Painforge: +1 power when damaged by Poisoned or Burning or hit by an ally.

Since Electrified damages friendly units every round, Electrofox can actually trigger Painforge repeatedly.
This means Electrofox keeps getting stronger during the battle.
The longer the fight lasts, the more dangerous it becomes.

What I enjoy most about this card is that it feels very different from typical support monsters.
Most support cards simply buff allies and stay safe.
Electrofox actually creates chaos on the battlefield.
It damages allies, boosts melee attackers, increases reflected damage, and powers itself up at the same time.
There is a little bit of risk involved because the Electrified effect can hurt your own team, but if you build around it properly the rewards can be huge.

Electrofox is not a card that fits into every lineup, but when used correctly it can become one of the most impactful support units in a battle.
The combination of Opportunity, Electrified, Amplify, Inspire, and Painforge creates a very unique playstyle that rewards creative team building.
Personally, I think Electrofox is one of the more fun legendary cards released recently because it changes the way you think about your lineup. Instead of avoiding self-damage, you can actually use it to your advantage.
Anyway thats it for todayโs #splinterlands grind. More battles tomorrow and hopefully more crazy moments too. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
