[ 𝐔𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 ] [ 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐮𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬! ]

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are doing great and welcome to another #Splinterlands post.
Alright, time for another #Splinterlands card spotlight.
Today I'm checking out a card that I actually think can be pretty useful in the right lineup.
The card is, Ulundin Regulator.
This is a Rare Life unit, and at max level it gets 3 abilities.
And honestly, the abilities are pretty interesting.
You have:
Opportunity
True Strike
Cleanse
So this isn't just a card that attacks something randomly and hopes for the best.
It actually has a specific job.
And one of the things I really like about it is that it can be useful both offensively and defensively.
Let's take a closer look.

𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
Looking at the card, Ulundin Regulator costs 5 mana.
It has:
4 Melee attack
6 Health
2 Armor
1 Speed
That speed is definitely not impressive.
1 speed is pretty slow.
But the attack is actually very nice for a 5 mana card.
Having 4 melee attack means this thing can hit pretty hard if it gets the chance.
And then we have Opportunity.
That ability completely changes how I look at the card.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟏: 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲
Opportunity: Targets the enemy unit with the least health.

The first ability is Opportunity.
Opportunity means the unit targets the enemy unit with the least health.
And this can be extremely useful.
Instead of attacking the enemy tank like a normal melee attacker, Ulundin Regulator looks for the weakest target.
So if your opponent has some annoying support unit sitting in the back with only a few health, Ulundin Regulator can go after it.
And with 4 attack, it can potentially remove those weaker units very quickly.
I really like this kind of ability because sometimes taking out one small support unit is more important than doing damage to the main tank.
A healer with 2 health?
Gone.
A weak ranged attacker?
Gone.
Some support monster barely hanging on?
Yep, probably gone too.
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟐: 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐤𝐞
True Strike: Attacks will never miss.

Now this is probably my favourite ability on the card.
True Strike.
The description is simple:
Attacks will never miss.
That's it.
But honestly, that can be VERY useful.
Because we've all had those moments in #Splinterlands where your monster has a good attack, you expect it to hit, and then:
MISS.
And you're just sitting there wondering what happened.
With True Strike, Ulundin Regulator doesn't have that problem.
It doesn't matter if the opponent has abilities that increase their chance to evade physical attacks.
Ulundin Regulator's attacks will not miss.
And when you're using a card with 5 melee attack, making sure that attack actually connects is pretty important.
There's nothing worse than having a strong attacker and watching it miss at the worst possible moment.
Ulundin basically says:
"Nope. I'm hitting you."
𝐀𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝟑: 𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐞
Cleanse: Removes all magic debuffs from the allied unit in the first position.

The third ability is Cleanse.
Cleanse removes all magic debuffs from the allied unit in the first position.
And this is where Ulundin Regulator becomes more than just an attacker.
It can actually provide some support to your tank.
Your first-position unit is usually taking the majority of the punishment.
And sometimes that punishment isn't just physical damage.
There are plenty of effects that can make your tank weaker or reduce its effectiveness.
That's where Cleanse comes in.
Ulundin Regulator can help keep your frontline unit free from those magic debuffs.
So while it's busy attacking weak enemies with Opportunity, it's also helping your tank stay in better condition.
That's a pretty nice combination.
𝐖𝐡𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠
This is probably the biggest reason I wanted to spotlight this card.
Look at what it can do:
Opportunity → attacks the weakest enemy.
True Strike → never misses.
Cleanse → removes magic debuffs from your frontline.
So Ulundin Regulator is basically doing three different jobs.
It's an attacker.
It's a reliable finisher.
And it's also providing some support.
That's not bad for a 5 mana card.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐢𝐠𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦
Of course, it isn't perfect.
The biggest problem for me is definitely the 1 speed.
That's REALLY slow.
In a battle where speed is important, Ulundin Regulator could easily end up attacking after most of the enemy team.
And sometimes going first is everything.
It also doesn't have a huge amount of health.
6 health is decent, and 2 armor helps, but it isn't exactly a massive tank.
So I wouldn't put this thing in the frontline and expect it to survive forever.
That's not really its job anyway.
It's much better being used as a secondary attacker while another unit handles the frontline.
𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐈 𝐔𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐭?
I think Ulundin Regulator could be really useful when:
The opponent has weak backline units.
There are high-evasion monsters around.
You need a reliable attacker.
Your frontline is vulnerable to magic debuffs.
You want to target low-health enemies quickly.
You have enough protection for slower attackers.
Opportunity is especially nice when the enemy team has one or two low-health support monsters.
You can potentially remove them before they get too much value.
And True Strike makes the attack much more dependable.
𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍
After looking at Ulundin Regulator, I think this is another one of those cards that can be easy to overlook.
At first, you see the slow speed and you're like:
"1 speed? Really?"
But then you look at everything else.
4 attack.
Opportunity.
True Strike.
Cleanse.
And suddenly it makes a lot more sense.
I especially like the combination of Opportunity + True Strike.
You already have the ability to target weak enemies, and then you know that attack is actually going to connect.
That's a pretty good combination.
And the Cleanse ability is just a nice bonus that can help your frontline stay stronger.
I wouldn't use Ulundin Regulator in every single battle.
But in the right ruleset?
Against the right lineup?
I think it can do some serious work.
Sometimes you don't need the fastest monster on the field.
Sometimes you just need a monster that says:
"I'm hitting the weakest guy... and I'm NOT missing."
Anyway thats it for today’s #Splinterlands grind. Please do give your reviews in the comments section below. I would really appreciate it :)
I'll be back with another one soon. So do follow me if you want to stay updated. Till then, Stay Happy and Stay Hydrated.
