In this post I will be talking about yet another great monster which I have been experimenting with recently. It goes by the name, Okora the Devourer.

𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝗸𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿

Okora the Devourer is a legendary card which belongs to the Dragon element and plays as a Ranged Attacker and a Mage. This card can be used in high mana cap battles because of it's mana cost. It costs 9 mana to be used in battles. This amazing card carries 5 abilities at it's max level, which I'm going to be talking about next.

𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

At level 1, this card comes with 2 Ranged Attack damage, 1 Magic Damage, 7 health and 3 speed. Even at level 1 this card is an absolute beast. This card also comes with 2 abilities from the initial level, Opportunity and Enrage.

• Opportunity: Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

• Enrage: Has increased Melee attack and Speed when damaged. Multiplier x1.5 rounded up.

Now, with these abilities, this card becomes even more impressive. When this card is upgraded to level 2, it's health increases from 7 to 8. Furthermore, it also gains a new ability called, Phase Ward.

• Phase Ward: At the start of battle, the unit in front of this unit gains Phase.

At level 3, it's speed increases from 3 to 4. Plus, it gains a new ability called, Bloodlust.

• Bloodlust: Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.

At level 4 (max level), it's magic attack damage and speed increases from 1 to 2 and 4 to 5. Plus, it gains it's final ability called, Kindred Will: Mimic.

• Kindred Will: Mimic: At the start of battle, adjacent units with Kindred Spirit gain Mimic.

LORE

When Praetoria rose against the Chaos Empire, Commander Okora led a legion against the rebellion in the Alazangeis kalamenty. While other commanders fled their posts, she held. She turned impossible battles into victories through sheer force of will.

Then Barashkukor, Lord of Darkness of the Belurocian Empire, betrayed the Chaos Empire. The rebellion, which had been failing in Alazangeis, ultimately succeeded. The empire lost Praetoria and its kalamenties. The legions retreated to Tovingor.

While the Ascendency deliberated their next move, Okora descended into the fortress-city's deepest vaults. There, mounted on an obsidian pedestal, sat the preserved heart of a chaos dragon, one of the Host's greatest. The beast had burned entire armies before the rebels brought it down. The Ascendency kept its heart as a trophy.

Okora stared at it. Then she lifted the organ in one hand, opened her massive jaws, and devoured it.

Dragon magic flooded her body. Her ulund physiology rejected it, fought it, tried to expel it. Okora refused to let go.

When the transformation was complete, she walked to the Ascendency's war room. The guards moved to block her. Dragon magic flared and they were hurled aside. She pushed open the doors.

"I ate the chaos dragon's heart. The dragon's power is mine now. I shall lead the fight against the Conclave Arcana."

A kalament rose from his seat. "You dare interrupt the Ascendency? Remove yourself before—"

"Let her speak." Mantaroth, second only to Silus himself, waved the kalament silent. His eyes glittered with amusement. "An ulund ate a dragon's heart?"

"Yes."

"That's the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard."

"And yet." Okora raised her hands, and dragon magic flickered around them.

Mantaroth's smile faded. He glanced at Silus.

"She held Alazangeis," Silus said. "When the others fled, she held. Alvar Veralyn is dead. The legions need a general who will not break."

Now General Okora the Devourer stands where Alvar once stood, surrounded by maps of Praetoria. Legions eight-hundred thousand strong wait in Tovingor, survivors from seven kalamenties, retreated, reformed, regrouped.

Her eyes trace the map. Mount Praetorous where Uul festers, markers showing the Conclave's expeditions, Praetoria's defensive positions. Everyone looking the wrong direction. The Conclave hunts for secrets while Praetoria fights the Conclave. No one's watching Tovingor.

Her massive hand rests on the map, spanning the entire continent.

Let them bleed each other. She and her legions will devour what remains.

𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

This monster card is something that every player should have in their arsenal. Even at bronze league, this card is a great addition to the team and it really packs a punch. Even if we talk about this card from a trading point of view, it goes for a pretty hefty amount when you upgrade it. It goes for up to 83$ in the market, so keep leveling it up lads!

So next time you are battling in a high mana match, give Okora the Devourer a try. You might be surprised by how much this beast can contribute to your win streaks!
