My reputation score was 25 when I signed up just a few hours ago? Now at 46

Yeah, when you first get started, it doesn't take much for it to move up, but the higher you go, the more it takes for it to move up.

That makes sense, was thinking with this parce I would be at 60 - 70 in no time

It all depends on how active you are, how many upvotes you are getting, etc. You will make it to the 50's pretty quick, then you will start to see the slow up.

Does the rep matter?

Yeah, the bigger rep you have, the better off because it shows you are a member of the community that brings value.

If you are downvoted or blacklisted, your rep is trashed, not just the number, but you won't get seen in feeds.

Hope that never happens.
Are there some rule page here?

No plagiarism or AI generated content. Basically, it's not just about inleo but the entire Hive platform.

No actual 'rule book' but basically, be original, don't copy other's work, if you do, make sure to cite the original source, and AI generated content is frowned upon as it's not really your work. If you do use AI work, make sure you cite it as AI generated. Other than that, no rules.

There is a group with a heavy Hive stake that does actively checks for AI generated and plagiarized content called Hivewatchers. You don't want on their blacklist. They will downvote your account into oblivion and have other large accounts as far as staked Hive goes that also follows their downvotes. They will completely wipe out any rewards you may get and your rep goes down the tubes.

Good stuff! Don't forget, more staked Hive, the more you can do on the chain. It's the main resource and governance token of the ecosystem. LEO is a second layer token that gives you voting power on this front end alone.

ooo so Hive should be the priority token I purchase here. Got it chief

Yes, Hive is the layer 1 blockchain this is all built on. Inleo is a front end that accesses that blockchain. There are many other Hive based front ends, many with their own second layer tokens like LEO.

Cool thing is with Inleo is that you can stake up your Hive Power, then delegate a portion of it to the @leo.voter account and earn your choice of liquid or staked LEO on a daily basis. You get more APY if you choose the staked LEO rewards.

There's a lot going on with Hive, so don't ever be afraid to ask! There are many of us around that are willing to help out!

And that's mainly why I followed your account.

Sorry I had to reply late, been off social Media for 2 days, except for the ones a get a ping notification. Is there a way if getting that here? Like an app version?

Never apologize for being offline and having a life, lol. Yeah, ping notifications would be a good option on Hive for sure. I would turn them off, but yeah, for users that like to be notified, that would be a great option.

Ha, thanks for making me not feel bad.

I usually open social media only when notifications pop up. YouTube shorts is the only one I open myself especially when I'm eating.

I just hate notifications other than text messages, phone calls from contacts only, and trading alerts, lol. I'll do the occasional calendar notification because I am ADHD as shit, lol

I get it, it can be annoying sometimes. But I'm mostly either building my shops or doing some work at home so the only way to get my attention is a ping.

ADHD as shit, lol

I'm a little like that haha

I am mostly doing other things as well, that's why I don't need the distractions, lol. I'll check stuff when I check it. Other than texts from my family, nothing online is really that important.

You may get notifications on the Ecency app, but it's not the same thing as InLeo as far as the threads situation. They have their own thing called Waves, but not near as active. But as far as long form posts and wallet, they have all that.

I'm going to download it then. Wait so If I use that to respond to you, would you still see my threads?

That's the problem with Threads is you can see them on other platforms, but you can't respond to them, I mean you can, but they won't publish to InLeo... It's a weird front end war thing going on... Basically Inleo started the microblogging part of things and other front ends ran by the old Hive whales tried to copy...

Anyway, if you tag me by using @thelogicaldude, I will see it in my main notifications.

Another way to get me is to come and chat and ask questions in the @hivelist discord server, which is my e-commerce project here on Hive.
