Evolution of public perception about Bitcoin!

Hello!

I was looking at a photo shared by Anthony Pompliano about how the public perception of Bitcoin has changed in the last years. It is really incredible to see the transformation from total skepticism to full acceptance.

See the photo below:

Back in the early years, most big names in finance and politics were attacking Bitcoin. Jerome Powell said it was “highly volatile and not backed by anything.” Donald Trump in 2019 said he was not a fan of Bitcoin and that it was based on thin air. Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, called it “an index of money laundering.” Jamie Dimon from JP Morgan said Bitcoin was a fraud and even compared it to a pet rock.

And Mark Cuban joked that bananas had more value than Bitcoin because at least you could eat them.

Even Michael Saylor!! THE BITCOIN CHAD, who today is one of the biggest defenders, once said Bitcoin days were numbered!! HOLY SHIT!

But look now. The same voices are saying the complete opposite. Powell is calling it a competitor to gold. Trump says America will become the Bitcoin superpower. Larry Fink admitted he was wrong and now believes Bitcoin is legitimate. Jamie Dimon is ready to accommodate because “it’s what the customer wants.” Mark Cuban says it has more value than gold. And Michael Saylor describes it as harder, stronger, faster, and smarter than any other money.

This evolution shows the classic path of every great innovation. First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, and finally they join you. Bitcoin has gone through all these phases.

For me, this is a strong signal. The resistance is gone. Now the institutions, banks, politicians, and billionaires are not just accepting Bitcoin—they are embracing it. The same people who laughed are now building around it.

The future is clear. Bitcoin has already won the battle of perception!
Have a nice day!
