The cry of hunger caused protest in Nigeria

My heart pieces, looking at the faces of people crying for hunger, I wish It was in my capacity to change what Nigeria is facing, sometimes, I think about it, and I reason, "what is really in power and why do most leaders in Nigeria do not have pitied for the people of the country.

This is really unfair, checking on what is the actual reason of this ongoing protest, you would find out that, the people are not after anything luxury, but they all came out of their difference houses, because of hunger that is beating them everyday.

The worst of it is that, some of the leaders are even saying some negative words on the protesters.

According to some reports I received from X, formally Twitter, it is cleared that, some people were paid to stop the voices of the protesters.

I feel like crying seeing the laments of the people, "for God sake Nigeria is one of the Giant in Africa, we are highly bless, but why are things this way with our nation.

Due to this situation, it is now in the mindset of most Nigerians that travelling out of the country is the best option to escape the corrupt leaders.

Going to differents country's, you see most of our brothers and sisters and if you asked them to come back home, they would be very mad at you, because, for them, remembering what makes them to leave the country, it lock their minds and they do not want to see such things again.

A lot of university graduates don't have jobs, and it has now became a custom for the people and yet they were not complaining, then why all the increases in prices.

It is understandable that things are somehow at the high side everywhere, but in that manner, does it have to affect our own local product?

Just take a look at petroleum, Nigeria is one of the country in the world that produces crude which is extracted to many petroleum products, so can a product that is gotten from crude also be on the high side in the country?

They complaint that it is caused by the absence of refinery, so what is really stopping the construction of refinery in the country, does it means, no expatriate out there are ready to built this refinery for us?.

Okay, Alike Dangote has made efforts and he has built his in the country, then what is stopping the associate body in selling him crude, so that he can refine here in Nigeria, and we see if the price of fuel would be afforable by a common man.

Because the whole thing seems to circle on the petroleum products, goods are high because of it, transportation are increasing everyday because of it, a lot of things are affected, all because of it.

Then someone knows he can't lead the people, why did you came out to contest in the first place, how does it make you comfortable knowing that your people are suffering.

Is like they have forgotten who is a leader? the people are suffering on the streets, markets and all other places, but you are flying on the sky and still be calling yourself a leader.

Yet, infiltrating the police minds and when a young person tries to shine, the police would go after him/her and be claiming the person is doing illegality.

What is really your problems for God sake, I got really moved, when I see a woman who came out to protest and she was carrying a pot, and the pot was empty.

a lot of people are suffering, hunger everywhere in the country, but the politicians are busy buying private jets for themselves, and building mansions for their family.

Not really a little conscience, I wish they changed, and make thing's better in Nigeria, I love my country, people should not be suffering in this country.

I wish the cried of the protesters touch their hearts and make them do the needful for the nation.

Unity.....
