Listing Splinterland Cards For Sale

If you been following the @rentmoney blog you will know I dipped my toe into the Splinterlands card trading market. My cards are mainly OG and "older" sets. This means the sales aren't as quick as the modern sets. This is to be expected. No different than selling a classic model of anything. The value is their but you have to wait for the right buyers. Today I was looking through my UNTAMED collection. UNTAMED the set that came after BETA. I decided to list some of those cards. The first to get listed is Ice Pixie. A dandy card indeed. It's popularity had made it the most valuable card to trade within the RARE | UNTAMED | UNIT market. Spark Pixies being the second on that list. Both Pixes leading the line in terms of trade value. I think I will go ahead and list that one up for trade as well. I only have two of Ice Pixie and one of the Spark Pixes cards. Since I'm mainly a BETA card collector I figured I start cleaning up my collection and sell the cards I rarely use or rarely get rented out. I can use the funds to pick up some more BETA or potentially CHAOS since I maxed a few of those and might continue to do so. Letting DEC build up to participate in an upcoming modern set is also a possibility. Leveraging the sales into more UNTAMED cards has also crossed my mind. Regardless, some of @rentmoney's cards are hitting the markets.

Re-starting my poker journey

I always planned on getting back to playing poker. With the purchase of my refurbished laptop, the favorable price of the HIVE Token and other cryptocurrency assets I thought this a good time as any to do that. I haven't played to any serious degree in years so I might be a little rusty. I already fumbled my sign up process with signing up to a poker client. I signed up straight from the site and that is almost always the worst way to do so. Signing up through the right affiliate is the way to go. They can help you if you run into some unexpected issues and sometimes host private games that have much lower playing fields in them than site wide games offered to the general public. The thought process is; win at poker > use percentage of winnings to purchase Hive. It's time to become a whale. It almost feels essential for me to do so if I want to give myself the most runway for growth here on the Hive Blockchain. Playing poker and using the won funds to help boost my Hive holdings isn't all I have planned for Poker and Hive. There is a final step that I hope others will be interested in but I'll keep that to myself for now. I'm not ready to implement that step just yet.

The Ice Pixie & It's Lore

The temperature of Azmaré's Frozen Hell has been gradually but steadily increasing for the last ten years, since the salt sickness has taken hold there. The Ice Shelf itself is not in any imminent danger of melting, nor is the Palace of the Frost Giant, but new, mischievous creatures of the ice have been emerging from the melted cracks. These Ice Pixies have apparently been frozen for many lifetimes, simply awaiting a warmer season to make their escape. Once free, Ice Pixies play like warp speed children throughout the Splinterlands, making a real mess of the natural world.

Lady Luck

Needing Lady Luck on my side while on my new poker Journey instantly made me think of the game named Stake House Den that can be found on the Arcade Colony webpage. The Stake House Den app itself has multiple casino games playable from its interface. Classic games such as Black Jack. The Stake House Den app has what is called LADY LUCK packs. The Lady Luck packs are 4000 credits each and contain five gaming assets. Credits can be purchased using paypal at the minimum purchase of $10/ 10,000 Credits. An easy purchase process that can be done on the official Arcade Colony site. One can also use something called SCRIPTS to trade for packs. You will need four SCRIPT tokens to trade for one Lady Luck Pack. SCRIPT tokens can be traded for on TribalDex using your Hive Tokens (SWAP.HIVE). At current time (1015-12-09) there are a total of 62,058 Lady Luck packs remaining in the official Stake House Den shop.
