Increasing My Hive Power (Powering Up/ Removing Delegations/ Fiat YUCK!)

My goals here on the Hive Blockchain remain the same. Its been a slow crawl and multiple forgone spikes and dips. Ultimately I simply want more. More Hive Tokens, More Hive Power, More SPL assets, MORE! Unfortunately life tosses us curve balls. Some we see coming and others we do not. Sometimes there is no curve ball just missed opportunities or wasted time. A slow underhanded pitch that we simply just stare at as it crosses home plate without swinging for unknown reasons. Regardless my growth has been stagnate at best. This means I have to do something different if I want change. First up is removing a 2500+ delegation I have lent out for a significant amount of time. This will increase my voting power to reward those who I interact with and also those who interact with the @rentmoney blog. In one of my most recent post titled DEC KickBack Post & More (8/23/2025) I mentioned the sale of my DEC holdings (SPL in-game currency) for Hive Tokens. What I didn't mention was that action was taken so I can add to my overall Hive Power. A 233 increase isn't massive but every one Hive Power adds to the pile. Currently Hive is valued at roughly $0.21 USD so in USD that would be just south of $50 USD worth of tokens. Powering Up Hive Tokens is as easy as going to your in-house wallet located on the Hive Blockchain > Navigating to the wallet section > Clicking the drop down menu next to your Hive Tokens > Selecting Power Up from the drop-down menu > Entering the amount wanted to power-up > Click the power-up option (Yes its really that easy: In-fact it takes longer to type the actions of doing so than taking the action of itself).

Removing delegations are just as easy as powering-up. Head to your in-house wallet located on the Hive Blockchain. Once in the wallet section navigate to the delegation section by clicking the big icon that says DELEGATIONS. It's in this section that you will see a list of Hive Profile names in-which you have delegated Hive Power to. To remove a delegation simply click the REVOKE icon next to each/ any or all the profiles you delegated Hive Power to and bobs your uncle. It is now that I like to point out how easy the Hive Blockchain makes things. Delegating, Revoking Delegations, Gaming, Posting, Commenting, Transferring, Powering Up, its all done with ease; and very user friendly. Currently after my 233 Token power-up I have 7,552 of active Hive Power. Once the revoke process is fully complete that will add an additional 2500. This will push me over 10,000 Hive Power with over 8000 Hive Power still delegated out. The only reason for the removal of my delegation is because I want more Power (Insert Tim Allan Grunt Here). Tonight I will ponder if I want to trade some of my online assets for more Hive Tokens/ Hive Power or to try my hand with trading in some aspect to increase holdings. Sitting idle is no longer an option. I have to make something happen or potentially sell off for some fiat (Yuck).
