What is needed for Content Creation

Content creation is fun but initially, it's not that easy because there is a lot that we need to understand. Everything that we start requires some sort of learning; in the initial time, we need to pay more attention. Undoubtedly we need to spend some time on the learning side so that we can learn the proper way and we can also learn from others how they are doing. It's fine to commit some errors in the beginning because that is how you learn and especially when you try something new it is obvious things might not go the way they should.

I started my content creation journey in 2019 and since then I have been learning and improving my content creation skills. I still call myself a newbie in this area because I know there is a lot that I need to learn and I don't think I will ever be able to call myself a pro. Nobody is perfect and nobody knows everything so it's always a great approach to be in learning mode and keep on learning as much as possible. I enjoy content creation because I have been doing it for many years. So today in this post I am going to talk about what is needed for content creation as per my experience-

Consume Content- You need to consume content if you are going to create content. If you expect people to spend some time on your articles, you also need to prepare yourself to do the same with others. This cannot be one way where you expect people to spend time on your post but you are not ready to do this, so this one-sided arrangement will never be successful. It's as simple as that you spend some time reading what others are writing and maybe you can also list down some of your favorite writers according to your interests and preferences.

Engagement- This is another important part where you need to understand that everyone who engages with vertical deserves a response. Imagine how will you feel when you comment on someone and you don't get any reply. It makes us feel like the author is not bothered about our time and after some time you might end up visiting that author in the same way if you do not respond to your audience then they will also stop coming to your particles. With engagement, you create an audience and not just engage with your post but we should also engage with other authors to build a connection. It is helpful to grow on this platform and it is fun also.

Consistency- People like to follow authors who are consistent with the content creation so that they often get the opportunity to read and enjoy. This is why consistency is important so that you can keep your audience engaged but please also ensure that you do not publish more because you need to respect others' time as well. There has to be some balance which is like one article in a day is good enough to keep your audience engaged and use the rest of the time to engage with them and others to build your following and have some connection.

Reading and Homework- Since I have already mentioned that I'm not a pro writer I need to spend some time before I start drafting my post. I need to figure out the topic and what I will talk about which requires some practice. I also need to do some research to gather some data wherever required and this process takes about one to two hours. I start writing the post once this part is done and I have enough information to write about and I think this is necessary. There is no point talking about something that we're not aware of so before writing something we must do our research to gather some information and data which can help us to answer any question that might come across.

Since I do not use any particular tool to write the content so I can't suggest any. Whatever I follow with my content creation journey I have shared in this post and everything is important. Different people can have different thought poses and ways of working which I completely understand so what I follow is shared in this post and maybe some other people can share something else. Maybe some other people also use some form of Technology which I don't use but the only tool I use is known as Grammarly. I don't use AI or any tool and Grammarly is good enough to rectify any grammar or spelling mistakes etc.
