I have been playing the splinterlands game for more than three years and I have also been listing different assets for the game. I have lands which is an expensive asset in the game and I am glad I have a couple of lands in my account. I do not know how these lands will be used but I'm sure the team will share some tutorials or guidelines. Lands are expected to be launched on 28th November and in just one week we are going to have the general sale for rebellion booster packs. It seems that November and December both are going to be exciting for the Splinterland community. While the land has been one of the most awaited launches of the game rebellion is also bringing a lot of excitement.

Rebellion Presale is over & General sale coming

The rebellion pact has been announced with a total supply of 10 million. Out of the total supply, 500K packs were sold out in the presale that continued for 30 days. This time they also have the burn mechanism so if anything is not sold, it will be burned out. I did track the sale in the initial days and even on the last day when all of a sudden lot of people started buying the packs. This is good because with more packs selling the game is getting more funds that you will be able to use on the development. Currently, the Splinterland game is in the face where they need more funds to expedite the development process. Bringing speed to the development will help the game to get more exciting and the community will enjoy it more.

The presale was already tended and after that, the countdown for the general sale has been started. The general sale will be kicking off from 5th of December. There will be no promotional cards provided to the buyers but the regular benefits will be available. The tenure for the promotional sale is limited, and the general sale is going to be with us for a long time where we can buy any number of packs we want. For the payment options, we'll have dec along with vouchers which will give us some discount on the buy. A bulk buying bonus will also be provided. In the current scenario, you will be getting a 5% bonus if you buy at least 100 packs. This number will change on 500 1000 or 2000 and you will be able to see it on the page where you will be buying it. Needless to say, you will also be getting the benefit of airdrop.

DEC can get you more Discount on Packs

I checked the market price for the DEC token. This token is called Dark Energy Crystals and in short, we call it DEC. This is the currency of the game and I say this because we can use this token to buy almost every setting game. There can be some of the assets as an exception that we cannot buy using this token but I can say that the option to use this token for buying stuff is available with almost every asset in the game. I would recommend you to use Dec only for buying the pack and here is why I say this.

• The price of one rebellion pack is 5000 DEC or you can say it's five dollars. The price for one rebellion pack is considered $5 and DEC is also considered a stablecoin of the game. Now we know that the 1000 Dec tokens price should be worth $1 and it is not there in the present scenario. But the game is considered one thousand DEC worth one dollar and because of that, you can buy one pack just for the 5000 DEC.

Now let me take you through the price calculation. If you buy 5000 DECm you will pay around $4.73 and here you save $0.27 as per this rate. So for each pack, you roughly save $0.25, and for 100 packs you can save 25 USD.

I'm not considering other benefits that you'll be getting but here I'm just talking about the savings that you are going to get if you choose to pay with DEC. I don't think it's a bad deal to save $25 on the purchase of 100 packs so technically you are getting approximately 5 more packs considering you pay flat 5 dollars for one rebellion booster pack.

• You will be getting some discount for using the voucher token which is also there and if possible you should try buying more because it can get you more benefits. So this is the reason why I say that use the DEC to buy the pack and get some additional benefit.

Rebellion in Tribaldex

I wanted to check the price for the rebellion pack in the open market. For those who do not know I would like to mention here that these rebellion packs are available in tribal decks or you can say it's a hive-engine. You can buy the Payk from the shop option in the game or you can buy in the open market but there is a difference because if you buy directly from the shop it will make you eligible for future airdrops. Buying Payk from the market can get you probably a less surprise but you will not be getting any airdrop. Now it's up to you how you want to buy and if airdrop is important for you (which sometimes can be much more valuable as I have seen). shop is the place for you. If you are not interested in airdrop in that case the market is the best place because you can get one pack for somewhere around three dollars whereas the official price is five dollars for the pack.

I am not suggesting anything and just shared both possible ways that you can check and go with the one you like to go further.

For the airdrop you need to buy a decent amount of pack to get the eligibility and a lower amount might not make you eligible. You can see this option as in the previous versions it was mentioned the minimum required to be eligible for the airdrop. Both options are good provided which one you choose depending upon your preference.
