Una vez alguien me dijo que nuestros nuestros únicos obstáculos son nuestros miedos y que la única manera de triunfar, es venciendolos. Está es la primera vez que me animo a hacer sábanas y no saben cuánto tiempo tenia con ganas de hacer este proyecto, no nada más porque las necesitaba, sino también porque quería aprender a hacer algo nuevo, pero siempre está aquella incertidumbre de si me quedará bien o no.. Yo dije que este año estaba dispuesta a crecer más en este arte y lo voy a hacer, no me pondré más trabas para intentar y coser lo que quiera, al final todas son experiencias que sirven de mucho.

Materiales que necesitas:
- Tela de sábana.
- Elástica.
- Tijeras.
- Cinta métrica.
- Máquina de coser.
- Sheet fabric.
- Elastic.
- Scissors.
- Tape measure.
- Sewing machine.
(PROCEDIMIENTO)
Paso 01
Bien amigos, las medidas estándar que tiene un colchón de una cama matrimonial es de 135cm de ancho por 190cm de largo, por lo que es necesario tener 2 metros de tela de sábana que cuente con un largo 2,30cm para crear está cubierta o forro. Toda está tela la voy estirar muy bien y en cada esquina voy a trazar un cuadrado con medida de 24 x 24 cm.
Step 01
Well friends, the standard measurements of a double bed mattress are 135cm wide by 190cm long, so it is necessary to have 2 meters of sheet fabric that has a length 2.30cm to create this cover or lining. I am going to stretch all this fabric very well and in each corner I am going to draw a square measuring 24 x 24 cm.
Paso 02
Lista las medidas voy a cortar dejando ver la forma que trazamos.

Paso 03
Pondré una puntada recta de 3 en la máquina, junto punta con punta del corte y realizó costura hago costura en todas la esquinas. También le hago una costura en zigzag en la orillas para reforzar más.
Step 03
I will put a 3 straight stitch on the machine, join edge to edge of the cut and sew in all the corners. I also make a zigzag seam on the edges to reinforce it further.
Paso 03
El truco para que de que no se mueva es empezar la costura desde las puntas hacia adentro y realizo una costura pequeñita diagonal para darle una forma más prolija.
Step 03
The trick to keep it from moving is to start sewing from the ends inwards and make a small diagonal seam to give it a neater shape.
Paso 04
Al terminar de juntar las esquinas, voy a colocar una elastica a la misma distancia del corte, es decir, 24 cm antes de la costura. Cosemos con puntada recta estirando un poquito la goma. Esto lo hago en cada es esquina y luego es que voy hacer el dobladillo de todo el contorno de la sabana ajustable.
Step 04
When I finish joining the corners, I am going to place an elastic at the same distance from the cut, that is, 24 cm before the seam. We sew with a straight stitch, stretching the rubber a little. I do this in each corner and then I am going to hem the entire contour of the fitted sheet.
Resultado!
Son costuras bien largas pero que valen la pena realizar para tener este precioso y refrescante resultado.. No hay nada más relajante que descansar en nueva sabana jaja..
They are very long seams but they are worth doing to have this beautiful and refreshing result.. There is nothing more relaxing than resting in a new savannah haha..
