I'm currently reading a fantasy novel which some young people I work supporting have recommended to me. I'm finding it quite annoying because it's totally scientifically inaccurate- e.g. one character is from a species which has colourless blood and yet she is then described as having a dark bruise - makes no sense! I don't know why this bothers me as I loved The Hobbit and don't think there's any scientific basis for a ring which can make you invisible!
What are you reading at the moment?

Maybe you should see the Athidal chronicles. Very similar to what you just described in the book you are reading. You can watch the movie as well, very interesting and entertaining.
