First quarter reflection

The first quarter of the year always lays the foundation of what lies ahead, but sometimes there are plan changes when things don't go the way we wanted. The year 2025 came with a lot of promises that are yet to be actualized even in the first quarter of the year, and gradually, we are in the second quarter, which means no time should be wasted. Every minute counts and every opportunity should be maximized for a good result. The first quarter of the year is a time for new beginnings, fresh resolutions, and renewed energy. The happenings in the first quarter shape our expectations for the rest of the year.

Everyone can testify to it that January begins with high hopes. A lot has to be put in place to adjust after the holidays and begin the new year with new plans. Just like any other person, I also had plans that I highlighted for the year 2025, dividing each into the four quarters of the year. The first quarter has come to an end and looking at my plans I had, it has been fulfilled. This is something I made sure to hustle my way into fulfilling because I don't want to carry it over to the next quarter. It took a lot of sacrifices, and determination to achieve it amid several commitments and responsibilities. Looking at the year so far, it hasn't been a bed of roses; due to the high cost of living and the imbalanced economy, the year has been a lot more stressful than expected.

Although the year has not been all I hoped for, there are other things I wish I could achieve in the first quarter which I was unable to achieve due to one reason or the other. They are not on the scale of preference but would have been an additional achievement for me if I was able to achieve them but then the struggle for a better life continues. Unforeseen circumstances are inevitable, and this always stands as an obstruction to any laid-down plans. Regarding the other plans I wish I could achieve, I had to pend them for some time adding them to the second-quarter plan list. One of the actions I wish to take to actualize them is to put more effort into creating time and rearrange my schedule to fit into having more time to spare. There hasn't been enough time to do most things; twenty-four hours seems not enough anymore, but unfortunately, the time cannot be changed. One can only try to fit his or her schedule into the twenty-four hours without affecting one another.

When things aren't going the way expected, one gets tired easily and wishes to just give up but passion is one of the things that gets me going in times like this. The driving force behind each plan I make always gives me a head-up in times of challenges. Giving up is never a solution for me because I'm always after success; no matter how difficult it may seem or the delay, I'm always ready to push forward and make it happen just the way I want it. The first quarter of the year has been a period of growth, learning, and resilience. It provided valuable lessons and experiences, whether it brought joy or challenges.

Thanks for your time and your comments will be appreciated.

The stress is just inevitable because we're doing more than usual to keep ourselves going. Sadly, the government is not making things easy yet, that's not an excuse not to grind. I am certain the year 2025 has lots of great things in store for us and we just have to keep grinding.

Truthfully, the year was a promising year but so many policies that was made has make some things so difficult, sometimes it feels like they made those policies against someone. The up and down are just too much but hey, we are just starting, like you said, no time to waste, this is the time to lock in.

Nicely written.
