The whales don't trust the minnows that why they flag new users who breaks the rules too oblivion plus a web 3 platform that request web2 for authentication of who is real or who is a both or owning multiple accounts
Trust issues kill adoption - whales flagging minnows creates a toxic cycle. Web3 should ditch web2 auth for true decentralization, or it's just another centralized mess in disguise
That's how the present hive works, won't be surprised if the price of steem overtakes the price of hive
