MASS INDOCTRINATION SERVICE DAY 4,29TH FEBRUARY,2024

Glory to God for another session of the mass indoctrination service held by Brother Eli Soriano still in the teaching of the importance of the pure doctrine of prayer as a believer

From the book of PHILIPPIANS 4:6 we understand that it is only through prayers and supplication with Thanksgiving also that our problem can be solved the Bible said we should be careful not nothing meaning we should worry about a thing rather we should present it to God on the altar of prayers in ACTS 1:24-26 When the apostle's wanted to choose a replacement for Judas Iscariot the prayed to God who searches the heart for the best choice and God did answered their prayer

We also understand that prayer means REQUEST we request something from God on the altar of prayers as seen in MARK 11:24 the bible says whatever thing we desire or want we present it to God and believe he will answer and he will definitely answer so prayer is a place we ask and communicate with God

Also we understood that we need to pray every time and in everything we do including when we eat bible said pray without season

MATTHEW 15:36 even Jesus before he gave food to the gathering of multitude he gave thanks to God and that caused the food to multiple whenever we give thanks to God for the little things we have he will multiple it for us 1 TIMOTHY 4:4

In LUKE 18:1-8 we understood the importance of persistent prayer through the parable of the woman who was crying before the king morning and night until she received the answer she wanted that's the same with us and God when we keep reminding God what we want him to do for us consistently giving him nonres he will surely answer us but first for our prayer to be answered it must be from a pure heart and a clean words ECCLESIASTES 5:2

God doesn't accept prayers made in sin we should also flee from the lust of the flesh we should work in righteousness peace charity and a pure conscience MATTHEW 6:7 A lot of things can hinder our prayers from being answered one of the things is a corrupted heart that processed evil thought and words what we say with our mouths is an evidence of what we have in our hearts we must ensure to keep a pure heart so our words can be edifying 1 PETER 3:10-12 verse 12 says the eyes of the Lord is on the righteous to answer him when he call when our heart is pure and we make our prayers God always answers let our conscience not be offended in God or in man ACTS 24:16

It is what proceed from the heart that corrupts a man not even what he eats or drinks but the thought he have in his mind

The thought of a man is what shapes his character in his environment it is what determines his words whether the be good or evil MATTHEW 15:19-20 JEREMIAH 17:9-10

IN CONCLUSION

JOHN 9: 31 God does not hear the prayers of sinners in fact he see it as an abomination to him he only hear the prayers of the righteous that is why baptism is very important because it washes away our sin and make us new creature in Christ so for our prayers not to be hindered we must live a life free of sin ACTS 22:16

Another thing that can hinder our prayers is bitterness of heart anger evil speaking malice etc can stop God from hearing us EPHESIANS 4:31

When we have the knowledge of the word of God in our heart it will cleans us and help us to know what to do to avoid sinning against God JOHN 15:3 and PSALMS 119:11 the word of God will make the Holy Spirit to dwell in us and help sanctify our heart giving us a clean and pure conscience before God 1 PETER 1:22
