MASS INDOCTRINATION SERVICE DAY 3, 28TH FEBRUARY,2024

Teaching review for the 3 day of the mass indocrination service held on the 28th of February thank God for the teaching of today I was blessed and I understood alot from the teachings of brother Eli Soriano God bless you sir and continue to give you more wisdom and grace for more impactful teachings

The teaching today was on the pure doctrine of Christ and the importance of prayer in the life of a believer it is important for us to know how to pray so we can receive answers to our prayers
I came to understand that most of the reason why our prayers are hindered and not being answered was because we do not pray alright
Brother Eli Soriano taught us the things that can hinder our prayers which is when we don't have love in our heart

For our prayers to be accepted by God first we must work in love and abstain from every form of evil ROMANS 12:9 when we do not work in love we live in sin and God does not answer any prayer made with a sinful heart of evil from PROVERBS 15:8 God doesn't accept prayers of a sinful heart even their Sacrifice is an abomination to him that is why the scripture said before we bring any sacrifices to God we must first be at peace with everyone not bearing grogies or hatred for someone our prayers won't be accepted if we do wickedly to people around us forgiveness is the key to an answer prayer
When Jesus was teaching his disciples how to pray he told them to forgive the sins of others because God also forgives our sin

Another thing that can hinder our prayers was brought from The book of MATTHEW 6:7-8 Which that when we pray we should not use vain repetitions of words thinking that that's how we will be heard our God is not a deaf God we should not keep repeating words by words over and over again that's is why God gave us the gift of the holy Spirit so that when we don't know what to pray for he the Holy Spirit will give us utterance to his word also God knows what we already need he just wants us to ask once even ISAIAH 65:24 made me understand that when we do things according to the perfect will of God that before we ask him anything he will do for us that even before we ask he God has answered wowww that's very awesome don't you think so.....

So we shouldn't behave like the hypocrite while praying like coming out in the street or in an open pray to shout in prayers so the neighbors can hear rather we should pray in the secret place and God who also sees in secret will hear our prayers

IN CONCLUSION

MARK 11:25 before we prayer if we have any unattended offence or anger or hatred we have towards someone we should settle it first with them so they won't hinder the prayers we pray to God

Also when we pray we should not stand but we should knee before God it shows the humbleness of our heart towards God ACTS 20:36
