Winter Special- Green Peas Pooris!

Winter season have arrived......the best thing about the winter season is that during this time a lot of green vegetables are available, and food tastes even more delicious. Green pea kachori, parathas, radish parathas, cauliflower parathas, carrot halwa, etc.

So today, in this cold winter weather, we are making matar ki kachori. We are deep-frying the matar kachori here, but if you don’t want to fry it, you can also make matar parathas instead.

So lets start to make Green Peas Kachori or Puri



Ingredients

💫green peas 2cup
💫cuminseeds-½tspn
💫asafoedita-½tspn
💫salt-according to the taste
💫ginger-½tbspn
💫redchili powder-½tspn
💫turmeric powder -½tspn
💫drymango powder-½tspn
💫Oil- forfrying

For dough

💫wheat flour-1cup
💫nigella seeds-½tspn
💫salt-to the raste
💫Ghee or oil-1 tspn



METHOD

💥In a platter take wheat flour if you want you can take all purpose flour but here I have taken wheat flour.
Then add salt , nigella seeds and some ghee or oil for Crispiness.

💥Mix all and Knead a soft dough.Keep aside.

Now for filling

💥Take peas, ginger, green chilies and some salt

💥Grind in a coarse paste.

💥Now add oil in a kadhai

💥Add cumin seeds, asafoedita and grated ginger.

💥Now add the green peas paste and cook it .

💥Then add salt, redchilli, turmeric powder, dry mango powder and mix it well.

💥Cook till the moisture goes away. Mix well.

💥Then off the flame and start kneading the dough again for 2 mins.

💥Now divide the dough in equal size of puri.

💥Now roll and place the mixture

💥Now pleat and seize the dough from all the side and start rolling the dough softly.
Take some dry flour if needed.

💥Further heat oil in a kadhai.

💥Now stir frying in high flame.

💥Flip and fry from both the sides until the poori turns brown or golden in colour.

💥Now serve hot hot pooris with green chutney or Tomato chutney..
