Today I am going to share a recipe of Radish stir fry
I know some of you migjt be hinking that radish is for salad, but here in India we make curry also.. and not only curry there are different varieties in curry. We can make by using curd or without curd and with radish green leaves or without leaves also... sometimes we put some gravy of tomatoes and onions paste too. Not only curry Radish is also famous in india for parantha.. yes Mooli ka paranthas i.e radish stuffed flatbread. It is a famous dish.
So,
Today I am sharing a recipe of RADISH STIRFRY With RADISH LEAVES. This is a vegan dish which I am sharing with you.
Ingredients
💥White radish with greem fresh leaves- ½kg
💥Green chilies-2
💥Carrom seeds-2
💥Cuminseeds-½tspn
💥Asafoedita-½tspn
💥Curry leaves-5
💥Nigella seeds-¼tspn
💥Mustard oil-1tbspn
💥Salt-to the taste
💥Sugar- a pinch of sugar(optional)
💥Ginger garlic paste-½tspn(optional)
💥Dry mango powder-½tspn
METHOD
1.Wash the radish properly.🙂
2.wash the leaves of radish too.😊
3.chop the leaves 🍃 and radish in small cubes.
4.then boil the chopped radish and leaves for 8 min along with salt and carom seeds.
5.then heat mustard oil in a pan. Add nigella seeds, carom seeds and green chilies.
6.further add curry leaves ans Asafoetida.
7.then add boiled and strained radish.
- Stir it properly.
9.then add turmeric powder ,salt, redchili powder.
10.mix it.
11.the add ginger garlic paste(optional)
12.further add dry mango powder and sugar just for little sweet and tangy taste.
Mix it properly ans cook for 5mins in low meduim flame.
Then off the flame and transfer it in a bowl.
You will love this do try once and let me know how it was.
SERVE with hot chapati/Roti.
Its delicious, the earthy flavor of radish with some sweet and tangy taste will enhance the the taste.
