My Favorite Parts from Chained Together
Hello and welcome back to my blog!
I talked about how you can do a fun activity with your loved ones or friends, and now I want to talk about how this fun activity can turn into a hell easy as the game gives you plenty of opportunity for that. The moments I will share with you turned my seconds into minutes and minutes into hours. But those hours felt like days lol.
One slightly wrong move can take you down in these cases, and imagining starting from the bottom again and again, it can easily give you some anxiety. Luckily, we went for the 'beginner' mode and used the checkpoints so we could teleport back up. Otherwise, it would have taken years lol.
Sometimes (in my case, most of the time) your partner can drag you down with them. I understood this game requires a lot of patience and coordination. It can be testing, the blame keeps shifting from one to another. You have to be in sync before making any jump, as if one of you goes at the wrong time, they can take down the other with them easily. That's why this game is almost impossible without good communication.
One of the most challenging things we faced was overcoming the God of Sky and Thunder, Zeus. This was a timed event, and it looked a lot difficult. We must have retried it 100s of times... it required almost perfect jumps for like 20 jumps around the status, and once the time is over, those stones would vanish.
The puzzles, which get more challenging as you climb out of hell and progress to the next level, challenge not only your communication with your partner but also both of your abilities at the same time. The results can lead to disappointment as minor mistakes haunt you repeatedly. I still respect those who can complete this game on hard mode.
The cool (and frustrating) thing about being chained up is that you can pull your partner out when they fall. But this mechanic doesn't always work. If you're on thin platforms or a spinning disc, trying to rescue them can often send you both down. While this adds extra tension to the game, it also reminds you how critical communication is. It's easy to hear epic dialogues like ‘Let me go, save yourself!’ But you still can't let go because you are chained together. Towards the end of the game, you are walking and jumping on a slippery platform, which makes it tough to pull your partner.
In my opinion, one of the most brutal parts of the game is the ice-covered areas. This can be the place where you meet the cold face of hell and where your communication with your partner is tested once again. Fortunately, as a result of the lessons we learnt, we didn't have as much difficulty here as in other parts. Maybe because we already had enough experience falling and dying this many times. The icy floors brought the risk of slipping with every step, but planned movements and verbal communication solved this problem.
It would have been much more challenging if there were more of those slippery tiles. But as you leave the slippery tiles, there comes another section. Probably one of the most popular sections in the game. I had already seen this section with the door... in a way, that was my primary reason to play this game. I was wondering when that episode is gonna come.
This felt like the last big challenge as we could see the gates of heaven already. It took multiple tries and contributed to the puzzles together, like one person remembering the first half of the puzzle and many times shouting out the correct doors.
The gates of heaven opened as we approached it, and that last scene was so satisfying. It was like climbing one a big mountain. Took us just over 8 hours, and these hours were both fun and challenging.
I don't usually rate games, but if I had to give this one a number out of 10, I would give it a solid 8, despite all the frustration. For those who are looking at a good co-op with a bit of a challenge, this one can be an interesting pick.

Seems reasonably interesting but I would imagine that this game, or any other game like it would succeed at making me angry at my friend that I was playing with 😀
Multiple times lol
I have seen some streams of this game to me it's pretty annoying although it will be pretty fun to play with friends 👍
That's how it interested me too... watched streamers playing it.
Yeah I also but I am now searching for mobile games to get the fun.
This is game is on auto sudden death hahaha, one wrong move and it's all over. The dark theme is awesome, if I have to play it, I'll turn off the lights in the room and make it more dramatic 😎😏😂
Those gloomy parts at the beginning is where you start, literal hell and get to the sky. It is some journey where you come out knowing much more about your partner. lol
