Searching for God | The old path.

This is really an interesting topic and Bro Eli Soriano has helped in the the explanations of it through the scriptures.
Jesus Christ is our true God and he will always remain our true God.

John 12 : 30-32
[30] Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. [31] Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. [32] And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

For the fact that our Lord Jesus Christ ascended to heaven doesn't mean that he is no longer God
When he was on earth,he was within a specific area.

And he said in his words that when he is lifted up he will draw all men to to him.
Truthfully, someone who stays above has the capacity to reach out and to help those that are below
Just as Moses lifted up the serpent, Christ was lifted up and all who look on him will be saved.

Indeed Christ ascended to heaven and he is even more powerful,in the scriptures below

Matthew 28 : 18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

He is not just in control of the heavens but also the earth.
Which means that he is still the one and only true God even in Israel
For he is our God even unto the end of the world.
