Learning Without Effort .:. Walk & Talk Series
The issue with these Walk and Talk videos is that I need some time to edit them, and I always take a "bit" more time to write this description... And usually, instead of writing a short description, I finish with a long, "additional" post-description... In the end, I finished having two posts in one (video + text)... 😃 For doing that, I "blame" the time that I took to write a description... If I did it fast, right away after recording the video, it would be short and simple... When I take more time, I get additional ideas about the video, that I didn't say and I want to "enrich" the post by adding that too! That happened this time... again...
In the video, I was talking about the chat that I had with a friend regarding his idea, and our potential collaboration, which unfortunately didn't happen in the end... But, it doesn't matter, we had a different point of view about the same thing and that's okay... Next time will be better...
I have probably "overthink" (who would say that?! 😱😂) as he had an idea of how to make things "simpler" for others, and I had a different view... Do things always have to be simple? Do we need all those things in our homes "that make our life easier"? Doesn't that create an opposite effect? Make us lazier, not willing to make an effort as someone else, or something else, will do the job for us?

I was watching a YouTube video where the author was presenting a crypto project where you get paid for watching videos and in one moment he said how the project is better than any other move2earn program as people "sit and watch YT videos more than walking"... Unfortunately, that's true... Why would we walk when we can use all those super products that help us to go from point A to point B, cars, motorcycles, electric bikes, scooters...
But, we humans are like that... If we can pick ways to do things, we will ALWAYS pick the easiest way, regardless of the "price" that we have to pay in the end... Walking is for poor people... I have a CAR! That reminded me of my school days when I had an Electronics class and the teacher said Electricity goes where there is no resistance... It is the same with us humans... You can easily spot that in children, but adults aren't much better...
I had another great example yesterday, in my home... The kitchen sink was clogged and the first thing that came to my wife's mind was to buy that liquid for unclogging sinks... That was the easiest way to solve the issue... Someone else has created an "ultra-great liquid" that will solve all your clogging issues... :) I went to the bathroom, found the good old vacuum plunger, and unclogged the sink in 10 seconds... That was an even simpler solution than using the liquid... It was cheaper, and I did it! Not a liquid! 😂 I mean, the example is ridiculous, but when you do even such a simple thing, with your own two hands, you get a self-esteem boost that can help you to overcome some much-complicated issues that can arise...
Thank you for your time,
~ph~

I agree, the path of least resistance isn't always the best path to take. You can miss out on a whole lot of learning and opportunities. Sometimes we do feel lazy though.
Oh, I know the "lazy feeling"... We all like to take shortcuts, even when they are not possible, but we still think that they are... 🙂
The hard way usually serves to teach us hard lessons... and they are very useful...
It reminds me that part of life is experiencing the consequences of our actions both good and bad.
Do things always have to be complex before it leads to success 😭😭
Yes... If it would be easy, everyone would do it...
Walking is good and for all to be healthy. In that case, it would be using public transport for poor people :)
I remember one animated movie, I think it was WALL·E, where people were so lazy that they were in wheelchairs all the time... That's a good inspiration to us to take a walk sometimes... and take care of our health...

For collaborations, both parties should have something to gain. I really get your point.
Hmm. True, if you are given something for free, you should not complain but be grateful for it.
Sometimes, the harder way builds us, teaches us new things, and helps us gain experience along the way.
It was an awesome 7 minutes with you.

I would go a step further and say that it's almost ALWAYS... hard way teaches ys hard lessons that we wouldn't take if we could pick... I remember many hard times that hurt a lot, but I'm grateful for the lessons I learned!
Have a great weekend!
same here! stay safe

People will always try to do things the easy way, but I also think your friend was wrong to say only Hive. I think it's a good idea to have exposure to multiple projects and it's not like LEN or LENM can't be converted into Hive. It obviously can and people will decide what to do with that after.
In the end, because our collaboration failed, contest winners lost additional prizes, which is beyond the "exposure" of both parties involved... That's the biggest pity... But, it's not the end of the world...
We strongly believe that good collaboration leads to win-win scenarios and will continue with building quality connections...
It is a fact that if we want to be successful in life then we have to work hard, there is no other way if we keep thinking that anything will happen from somewhere and we will live life well. So this happens only in dreams and in movies, in real life one has to work hard, even then one gets success.
Winning a lottery is extremely hard to achieve, in the same way is to "be lucky" to be successful... Usually, a lot of hard work stands behind the success...
Yeah bro. I totally agree with us.

Nice sharing! Thanks! Agree with you that it's puzzling why exchanging one token vs another token is a big issue.

(no space) to get help on Hive. InfoI understand that it CAN be an issue if you don't know how to do it... But, I don't understand why not give people a chance to LEARN it... It can be a useful thing for some future investments and endeavors...
