I love hydrangeas, and I must say, those are huge! I was surprised by them, and they have beautiful colours too. And the peonies... they are absolutely gorgeous.
When you're renovating your home or when the weather isn't favourable, as in your case, it's difficult to maintain the garden and vegetable patch, especially with the rain, but this year I can see that it's been great with those beautiful cucumbers and red potatoes, which are especially used here for roasting in the oven, they're delicious. I'm so happy to see your garden looking so beautiful and how productive it's been.

So much beauty in such a small space! In the summer I visited Valencia and was able to visit it in depth, what surprised me the most was its Central Market. I love modernist art and everything to do with that period. We all have Gaudí in mind but there is much more spread around the country, that market is beautiful. The other two buildings are not far behind, I really liked the detail of the little angel with the coat of arms and as for the church, baroque is another style that dazzles with its decorative splurge. What a curious contrast with the rear façade. As for the circle, I get the impression that there was once a rose window or something similar, which was damaged and had to be replaced. Could it be a sundial? Those lines and numbers... and I can just make out the stick on which the sun's rays fall, casting their shadow on them. Thank you for giving us this walk full of art.

My two favorite cakes of all time are cream pie and tiramisu! And I saw the second one today in the shop and didn't buy it! I was so close, but summer vibes are here and my belly is growing... Not good... 😂
And then I come home and see your post with a tiramisu recipe... Message from above? Should I prepare it, or just run back to the shop and buy one piece? Just one... 😂

My friend went to Vietnam for a vacation, and he is still there... Can't wait when him to come back to share his view about the country, culture, nature, and of course, food!
Btw. spending only $20 per day on eating out is super-cheap compared to Europe... You can't buy 1 meal for that money!

First of all, I want to congratulate you on getting your provisional document. I know how difficult it is to keep up with paperwork and how time-consuming it can be, so you are on the right track and this is a big step forward.
On the other hand, finding art that way, unexpectedly, I know what it's like... wonderful! Because those are the beautiful surprises you find along the way, and the painting you chose as your favourite is also mine. It's very beautiful in its composition and brushstrokes. I hope you can enjoy much more art as you explore the city
