It is true that being minimalist or not is not about labelling someone, and in reality we are essence, we are energy, and that is in all things, because we are part of the whole of creation. If it is true that minimalism arose as a response, perhaps to a need, but the system is so accustomed to turning everything into consumerism that I believe it has created a minimalist economy.
At the end of the day, what matters is what you like. You can be minimalist in some things and not in others, and that's okay, because we are all different, and that is the best thing about being human. But yes, everything has become consumerist; those who rule the world will always look for ways to make it so. I loved your reflection, thank you very much!

We could say that trees are undervalued nowadays! Especially those who stand, grow, and bring fruits, shelter, and shade to creatures and plants around them... A couple of fruit trees can feed a family whole year! I remember my first visit to Alhambra, Granada, Spain, where I saw an interesting "interior" garden divided into 4 parts... Every part had at least 2-3 trees that would ripen in a different season, which means that during the year, the owners would have fresh fruits for their families! There is no better food than fresh fruit!
