When the initiative was launched, I had the same thought: I’ve been to so many places and didn’t take any photos of the benches, or I’d simply posted them already but with the scenery in mind. But no, this isn’t just a collection of benches, it’s a fantastic collection!! Each one is more beautiful than the last, more relaxing or more useful… well… they’re all useful, but they all have their own stories.
The ones I like best are those set in the heart of nature, where there are incredible views, of the sea, for example, or green spaces. The ones that encourage chats and good times.

Every time something like this happens, it's in all the news for a day or two, and it becomes the "old story", and as you said, cameras move on... But it's not just weather forecast news or a ticket sale for a following concert; it is a disaster that hit a whole country, and its effects are immediate and will stay for the long term...
I remember the big volcano eruption in the Canary Islands a few years ago... It was in all the world's media for a few days, but then nothing... Some people still can't return home because of underground gas leaks... No money, no help, no talk about it...
But, as you said, seeing ordinary people coming together, helping out each other has restored belief in humanity... There are many good people, and that's good to know... 🥂

I always say there’s nothing more terrifying than reality itself. I love the way you’ve tackled this topic – it’s incredible how many things people come up with in this world. Surely people can’t be controlled in the same way as horses… or can they? Your story is magnificent; I rarely come across anyone who explains so well how the whole of humanity is chasing after something as if in an endless race, with a host of distractions put in place by certain people, distractions from what is true and important, distractions designed to prevent us from realising what they themselves are doing. What they created for horses, they’ve applied to… human beings… fear and control, with the supposed reward of money.
Excellent, a way of exploring this huge topic, which has fascinated me for years, that’s somewhere between tragic and comic.

I felt really sad reading this post, although seeing photos of Tony and Cata eases the pain a bit 😹 The death of a cat is always very painful for me because I truly connect with the species. I haven't seen one of my own pass away, but I have watched some in their final moments. Here in Venezuela, amidst the devastation caused by earthquakes, people celebrated not only the lives of rescued humans but also those of pets—cats that spent over a week trapped under the rubble. That really struck me and brought me great joy, even though many of them would never see their families again. It’s an excellent post, but it fills me with nostalgia, hahaha.

I think too much happened in June; I’ve got plenty of posts pending from months ago myself, but I know the right moment to publish them will come. I love that T-shirt with the photos—it looks great—and, of course, the big smiles on your baby and wife; that’s definitely the best gift and the best motivation to get up every day. A really beautiful post—I’m glad I didn’t miss it.
