The Timeless Beauty of Simple Mountain Living: Fresh Backyard Harvests and Homemade Meals by @dreamrona

image.png

Oh, how naive I was when I thought that life is better in a bigger city than in my small hometown... Also, when I was a kid, my parents didn't have enough money to take us to the seaside every year, unlike most of my friends... Maybe because of that, when I got older, I moved to the town by the sea... Lived there for around a decade and moved inland...
Today, I'm not "dreaming" about the sea anymore, but rather about those mountain views you shared in your post... Having a small house in the mountains, growing your food, sounds like a perfect way of living!

What makes someone stay on Hive for years? by @behiver

image.png

I suppose that most of the people came here because of the post rewards... Including myself... Okay, it was Splinterlands and potential earnings while gaming, but when I realized there was a social network behind it, I went deeper into the rabbit hole...
But, as you well said, I wouldn't stay here if it were ALL about the monetary rewards... Down the line, I met a lot of people and had personal/private contact with them, outside HIVE... So, I would say that HIVE is a perfect meeting point, which opens a lot of different possibilities... For some it is a diary, for others a gaming hub, maybe an investment platform, etc.

Crónica de una caminata by @eugelys

A walk in a really beautiful spot, with brilliant views. An inspiring setting, and that’s a great start. I was thinking about what you said regarding whether a slow walk is actually good for your health. I think for older people, yes, the important thing is that they keep moving. My mum is 73 and the doctor simply told her: ‘Madam, buy a hat and go for a walk.’ Besides, the pace doesn’t matter if it helps clear your mind; mental health is very important and leads to physical health.
I like to walk a bit faster, but, like you, I pay attention to my surroundings, like that little dog that wouldn’t stop barking, or the man asking the elderly for help. Paying attention to your surroundings also clears your mind of any personal problems you might have and helps during your walks. Ultimately, there’s a double benefit: mental and physical.

Ariana Grande - Petal 🌷 | Review & Analysis by @vezo

image.png

I think your review accurately captures what the video is trying to convey, the real message the artist wants the public to understand – but I’m referring to ordinary people, not critics. By focusing solely on her physical appearance, they are simply distracting from what is truly important: that message of breaking away from that ruthless industry where women, and artists in general, are forced to conform to stereotypes and fit into boxes, thereby ceasing to be themselves if they wish to succeed.
Clearly, Ariana has suffered through everything depicted in the video, as have many others, and some have taken it to the extreme of losing their very identity. This has been a brilliant review, of a very high standard, particularly the text, your choice of words and phrasing.

[ESP-ENG] Qué hace un cocinero cuando no está en la cocina by @edwing357

Many of us in Caracas ask ourselves the same question about Margaret's Arepas, but something tells me it will always remain a place for gathering and enjoyment. It’s great to read your work again; yes, it was a full year—a year where so much happened—but in your case, taking a break from the blog was necessary. I know for a fact that you are a very active person, but also that you work with great passion.

Surfing in winter (10 shots) by @papilloncharity

image.png

Let me be honest here... When I saw the title and the first sentence, I thought YOU were the guy on the board in the first photo! 😃 I got your "personal" view about the cold water being too personal, so much that I saw you on the board... 😂
Anyways, I had the same question as you about those boards with the pipe below, when I saw them for the first time... Obviously, they have some kind of small engine that does the work... But I could be wrong...

These are such great picks. I’m particularly interested in the first one, as the quoted part of the post is striking and pretty relatable. Will be checking it out.
