I did, and I'm doing, similar reflections very often... Maybe too often, to be honest... I still do have ideas, and when I was younger, I had probably even more... But there is a difference between now and then... Similarly to you, I thought I could do everything I imagined, that I knew everything... Because of that, it was easier to jump in and REALIZE those ideas, to fulfill... Maybe not to succeed, but at least try...
Today, I do have ideas, but many of them get forgotten, and many of them are "denied" after a few hours/days of brainstorming... We are not the same as we were a decade ago, or just a week ago... Is it good, is it bad? I don't know...

Two days ago, we had rain in Spain... The last one that I remember was back at the beginning of May! Since then, I think that the temperature hasn't gone below 31-32 Degrees Celsius, but has hit 40 a couple of times...
A few decades ago, it was hot here too, but not like this... Because of that, people built houses with 0 insulation, as the temperature was "pleasant"... I suppose something similar is happening at your place... Homes aren't prepared for "extremes" (heat or cold)... Freezing in winter, boiling in the summer...

When we’re afraid of something, at least in my case, it’s time that reassures us that everything is fine and that what we were afraid of was just in our heads, and that’s how we relax. But here, the fear is well-founded, and it will be a long time before our minds tell us: ‘Everything’s fine.’ The whole area is now at risk of future earthquakes, and it’s not a bad thing to be cautious.
I’m absolutely delighted to see how they’re repairing the façades of certain buildings. That will take time too, and walking through the streets will become safer and safer, but as I say, that fear may still be there, and that’s normal. I heard about the earthquake in Colombia the very moment it was happening because I was actually talking to someone from Venezuela at that very moment. I truly hope, from the bottom of my heart, that it never happens again.

As we are cooking here in Spain, just seeing those 7 AM from Scotland, combined with your fantastic photos, made me feel the morning breeze from your place!
Love the lavender color, and love the smell even more... It looks like bees love it too... Congrats on such great photos! It's hard to get them in the photo and keep them in focus, but you managed to do it!

Getting to know the Santa Rosa de Lima Church (Eng - Esp) by @belkyscabrera

It’s a beautiful, simple yet cosy parish church; it reminds me a lot of those big houses with a large courtyard or garden at the front, full of trees and plants. I think that’s why I found it so welcoming, just like a home. It’s situated in an area with lots of shops and a major avenue, so it’s well-known to everyone and quite iconic.
What I liked most were the columns with those sculptures , it’s something I’ve never seen before, very original and innovative. It’s brilliant that you wander the city’s streets and share the beauty of the place where you live with us.
